How exactly does a person survive being struck by lightening with not a scratch on her body? There was something decidedly unusual happening here, and her magic tingled warningly in her fingertips.

           "BE HONEST-" sketchbook was passed to her friend, brows arching high as genuine concern flooded her voice. "does this look like anything a figure skater would wear? i've never really thought about designing for sports like that or gymnastics, but i wanted to give it a TRY. my guess is it's pretty but probably too many frills. what's the extent of frills you'd wear while performing?"

     laughter bubbled, s h a k i n g her head, already knowing the design was certainly not meant for the ice. it would take some more thought and practice, as the current sketch was crafted out of boredom. "more sparkles, maybe... less layers of fabric..."

" Okay! I think I'm done putting this seasons flowers up. " Victoria exclaimed as she clapped her hands together examining her handy work. Summer season flowers were always so beautiful to look at, she did her best to have different variations of the flowers to really match the aesthetic of an enchanted forest.

"I think, we should make business cards! Really promote this place, and maybe a couple of lounge chairs for people to have their coffee along with your baked goods, what do you think Isa?" Victoria asked with a smile on her features. It wasn't often that she got to help friends with their businesses and when she did help, Victoria Atlas made sure to go all out. " Too much to think about it or do you think we can tackle it head-on? "

        FEAR RADIATED HER SYSTEM, but piper steeled herself, finding her voice amidst the tightening of her chest. it genuinely wasn't that circumstance at hand was terrifying, but confronting people always left her feeling shaky. still, there was no reason to be so in TURMOIL right then, there was no proof that the situation even related to her or her family. so forced smile was given, the teen inhaling sharply through clenched teeth. "are you paparazzi or is this just c o i n c i d e n c e?" after all, it was entirely possible that a news story was going on that didn't pull in

     LOW HUM, tilting attention over to him, scrunching her face in thought. dawn pulled the silliest face she could think of in that moment, doing anything to distract from the fact she couldn't provide an answer promptly. eventually, "i don't KNOW what i would wish for right now! i'm perfectly happy the way life is! unless i could wish to end world hunger, but i guess things aren't that simple, huh?"

" X! My man, get over here, I got something for ya to try! " the eldest Atlas exclaimed as he beckoned to Xerxes to the bar with one giant arm swoop. Once the male arrived, he placed a bowl in front of him. Inside the bowl was the Korean dish, Budae Jjigae. Just recently Tyler had returned from overseas due to Atlas Technologies business meetings and he was able to eat his way through the major cities within the time frame he was given.

" I just got back from across the pond and I managed to snag some new recipes for the place, good rule of thumb, never leave a country without at least five cooking recipes of the food you enjoyed the most, put that in your back pocket, and remember, okay? " Tyler stated, however, due to his excitement he didn't wait for Xerxes to respond, instead he passed him a glass of water and some napkins, along with a spoon. " Tell me what you think! If ya like it, it's free, if not lemme know what I can do better. No sugar coatin' either! "

Rosalie nervously bit the nail of her thumb as she stared at the books in front of her, she tapped her foot and put all her weight on the left side of her hip as she tilted her head in the same direction. " Pen, I think we have a problem. " Rosalie muttered to the other woman.

" I can't decide on which books to get. " She plucked two of her options off the shelf and turned towards the other. " This is has a retelling of Hades and Persephone in a modern setting. This one is about an enemies to lovers trope, but also a fake engagement that I can only assume turns into something more. " Rosalie explained as she read the back of the books exposing the titles; Touch of Darkness and King of Wrath.

Just recently, Rosalie took up reading after her sister, Victoria hounded her about playing too many video games. Besides it's not like her love life was going anywhere, might as well get what she could in books. " What do you think? "
