This is the toy closet in my basement, or maybe Narnia.
I have 3 older siblings. My oldest brother was born during the mid-80s and I was born at the end of the 90s. This closet has at least 15 years worth of children’s toys, not to mention any toys my dad bought before or during that time. There are Nerf guns, Barbies, Bratz, Littlest Petshop, TNMT, He-Man, McDonalds Happy Meals toys, Hess trucks, and American Girl dolls. It’s practically the island of lost toys. Being the youngest of the 4 kids, I had my pick of toys in that closet and still wanted the newer Polly Pockets and the Bratz dolls coming out when I was young. I knew my place as a consumer and I was eager to desire more products and desired my desires into needs. My parents had no interest to dissuade me from that life and so bought me the toys that fit my age for the time that I was that age. I did play with my brothers’ Legos. Legos are timeless.
