One Flew Over the Fwooper's Nest - COMPLETE
~340k words, Post-War SSHG
"Stop me if you've heard this one: a mental patient, a witch, and a priest walk into the village pub..."
It turns out that if you tell the staff at a Muggle hospital that you're a wizard, the former headmaster of a school of magic, and also a murderous, serial killing gang member of a racialised hate group, that they are quite likely to lock you up on a closed ward.
Incidentally, to Severus Snape - exhausted and war weary - that sounds like just the thing.
High-powered Barrister at Law Hermione Granger disapproves, of course, and is on a mission to expose her ersatz professor for his malingering.
A hair-raising, wild, fun romp through the Cotswolds blending the genres of comedic farce, folk horror, spy thriller, and small-town mystery, this post-war slow-burn basically has it all! I sincerely hope y'all will give it a try and that it's as enjoyable to read as it was to write! :D

(Art is my own!)
The plot waffling on an on and on for like 1k words about how Snape's going to deny Harry some remedy for totally petty reasons... Because I have absolutely no idea what sort of remedy I should use for this random malady I contrived. "Mothy? Why are your stories always so effing long?" Why indeed.
I bet a lot of writers put a whole lot of thought and care into the music that they use in their fics and I sort of envy that.
As for me? I’ve woken up with Rosanna by Toto stuck in my head for the last seven mornings in a row and if I can’t stop hearing it or singing it then neither can Snape.
Oh, and I’ve finished the first chapter of that new Severitus fic that ambushed me while I was making bagels last week.
35k into Storm Surge book 3. ...It's still the first 24 hours of the story...

Chapter 1 of Storm Surge book 3 is complete!!!
It took me a while longer than is normal for me. Transitioning to this book from the last one required some thought given a 2 year jump in time. Also I was finishing up editing on my Snamione epic!
I thought I maxed out my bingo card today with having to prep bread, tortillas, and bagels, reading lessons for my four year old, my two year old unexpectedly sick-pooping her way through like 8 diapers, and having to shop-vac out the A/C condensation drain in the basement because it had flooded, so I have to admit that a new, tantalizing Severitus plot bunny attacking me from its burrow while I was forming up my bagels was an enormous surprise.
ooooooo-hohoho—it’s a good’un.
