I think all 3 of Ghidorah’s heads respect trans people’s pronouns, but each for a totally different reason.
Ichi (middle head) considers it a sign of respect for a species he is eradicating. It’s like a hunter respecting the chase that prey gives.
Ni (right head) does do with a dash of cruelty. To him, it’s just twisting the knife and salting the wound, giving someone a moment of joy so that the depths of despair sting that much more.
Kevin doesn’t know what trans is. He accidentally vibe checks everyone correctly, even closeted people.
I went to throw my empty container of yogurt in the trash but as I was doing that I was hit with thoughts of The Character and had to lean on the fridge for support
I have a need to write Jon waking up to only fall out of bed. He would be royally pissed for the rest of the morning, no one to really blame other than himself.
Or even off a couch. Perhaps Martin, Tim, and Sasha should be witnesses to it.
Gush Post Yay
Oh, I love them so much. Not even just together as a villainous couple or a wholesome couple. I just love them in general. They both have always filled my life up with so much joy and hope during the times I needed it most or just on a normal day. They showed up when I was twelve in a dream and the Queen was very serious when she said I could see here whenever I wanted to. And even when the excitement needed to be recharged for a few years, she and the King were still there for me. I see it in my work from that time. They had so much influence on so many things that I never realized until now and I'm very happy with how far I've come on my creative journey.
I will say it bothers me a little. in the vampires smp fandom. how often ive seen posts that seem to say 'owen isnt evil hes just traumatized, he can be redeemed/fixed and its right for doc to try and do so' and while it is subjective and its fine to have different opinions. this baffles me. obviously theres always the chance that ive managed to hideously misread the intent and im sure a lot of it isnt actually that people think his actions are forgivable and is just regular tumblr behavior about Guys, but.
I adore v!owen as a character and I find his interactions with the others so fascinating, however!! he has openly admitted to killing thousands of people and wanting everyone around him to be equally lonely and miserable. plenty of people are traumatized and sick and betrayed and hurt who do not turn to murder. we have plenty of examples of that within the rest of the cast even! even within the vampires, even within the lore that vampirism brings out your worst, we have characters actively fighting to not become monsters. not to say that v!owen was always a bad person or that his lived experiences didnt play a role in it, because obviously he wasn't and obviously they very much did, but he still *chose* to become what he is (and I dont mean a vampire).
being traumatized or sick or betrayed or hurt does not give you the right to hurt other people in return, and theres a certain point at which its kind of unreasonable to expect people to forgive someone, and i think murdering 2799 people passed that point a little while ago maybe?? which is like. honestly the whole point of why v!owen is such a fantastic character, imo. because of the fact that he is both traumatized and sympathetic *and* cruel and irredeemable, and he isnt asking for forgiveness or redemption. its like youre missing an entire crucial facet to why vampires smp is such a good tragedy/horror!!! the character everyone perceives as the best/most sane (doc/legs) is lowkey endangering other townsfolk because he refuses to give up on someone who is so far past the point of saving as to be already gone! he seems to think other townsfolk are rash and over-reactive for essentially just having a self preservation instinct in a really scary and dangerous situation! (i mean come on—the vast majority of oakhurst did not have any kind of training to stay calm under pressure, and that is very much a skill you rarely have naturally; is it not kind of unreasonable to expect as the default from a bunch of civilians?) and ofc owen is going to encourage this; does it not just feed into his goal of dragging everyone else into the mud with him? theyre fascinating. I love it. its so strange to see people seem to think that this is not making everything worse for everyone involved.
Y'all remember when Shanks met with Whitebeard saying the sake he brought was made from the water of his hometown in West Blue? And God Valley was in West Blue? Did Shanks show up with sake from an island that no longer exists? Or did he get it from Mariejois? Or did he full on lie? Shanks... buddy... I have some questions.
Oh to flutter my wings again, to wiggle my antennas, to nuzzle into a soft flower, to cover myself in pollen, I'd do anything to experience my moth life again
