Is there any prejudice against younger parents? Or single parents? Or parents who only chose a mate for their traits? Or mcats society is more of as long as you take care of your kitten, no one cares about what/how you did it?

This is all very general because there is no black or white answer for these questions: 

In general, there is no prejudice against younger parents in Aldora. It is, however, frowned upon in other regions, such as in Alyconia, Nieven Mountains, and the Far East. As a general disclaimer, Mothcats are not eligible to breed unless they are at least 1 year in cat age or 18 years in human age as a rule for the closed species. 

Single parents are not prejudiced against in Aldora or Alyconia, but it is frowned upon with Northern and Eastern Mothcats in general. Other areas are unknown as of yet - given how large the Mothcat world is, there are bound to be other regions/societies that have different views on this.

Parents who choose a mate for their traits happens often in the North and East. It doesn’t happen as often in Aldora or Alyconia. Other regions are unknown, but there are bound to be other societies that do it too. 

In general, Mothcats will frown upon mistreating/neglecting Mothkittens, but it is not unheard of in any society for that to happen.

Do mothkittens that are born with cloudy/puffy manes have that kind of mothkitten baby fur as well or is their baby fur the same as a regular mothkittens' fur would be? (the fur that sheds into the mane when they age)

It can go both ways - Mothkittens can either have puffy/cloudy puffs (basically flying cotton balls) or there’s a chance that their innate elemental trait will appear after they age. (Some are just late bloomers!) 

If the latter occurs, then what usually happens is that all of their baby fur will shed and the elemental trait will replace it.

Since gay mcats can make a wish to Falena to grant them a Mothkitten cocoon, can it happen to cats that want to be single parent? What about poly couples? Or it always need to be two cats?

It is not possible for single Mothcats to “fertilize” a blank Mothkitten cocoon. The reason behind this is that the cocoons draw magic from both parents in order to create the baby. Both parents contribute an equal amount of magic (part of their “soul”) to the cocoon. If only one Mothcat is present, then the cocoons draw too much magic from that single parent and essentially steals the souls out of their bodies. 

Based on this concept, poly couples should theoretically have an easier time handling the magical strain of a blank Mothkitten cocoon, but it actually has the opposite effect - because there is so much “different” magic being drawn from the parents, the cocoon is overwhelmed most of the time and essentially fails (meaning it doesn’t hatch at all). If the cocoon does hatch into a Mothkitten, the resulting Mothcat often exhibits “mutated” genes that don’t resemble their parents at all.*

* This just means that the traits are all randomized - the cocoon won’t draw traits from any of the parents. It doesn’t increase rarity or introduce illegal traits.
