Awkward family pics don’t happen very often in my world ❤️ — I tend to purposely avoid these wholesome environments.. for fear of tainting the happiness in some way🤦♀️ — I haven’t seen my sister or my niece for well over a year, probably closer to two. It often just seems easier to avoid contact rather than feel the shame of being inadequate.. my projections, not theirs. A little something I need to work on, I’ll add it to the list📝 — I’m not where I’m meant to be. Not sure that I’m meant to be somewhere in particular, or even if I’ll ever feel at home in a place. Home for me is a different kind of feeling. It comes from a feeling of belonging, acceptance and understanding that we are all unique individuals and that we add value to one another with our bespoke viewpoints and feelings. It comes from not having to change who I am to be liked, loved and accepted. I could be anywhere in the world if it is with people who love me unconditionally and allow themselves to be loved back the same way💫 — I guess the real journey is to feel at home with me 🙌 I never really understood how little I loved myself until.. when forced to truly look within, I couldn’t even find my own light. Self love is the hardest most worthy love of all, it’s a scary love a stand up and take notice love and it’s the reminder love. It reminds you that when everything is feeling wrong you’ve still got you. I left myself behind.. no wonder I’ve been struggling — How do you stay in love with you? 🌈🍎 — #familypicture #sisters❤️ #neicelove #motherdaughters #selflove #selfacceptance #selfworthiness #lovemefirst #learningtolovemyself #unconditionallove💕 #kitchenlassie https://www.instagram.com/p/B5ctrw6geQG/?igshid=l3en2d3fnt3s
