Well, that's was fun #frozemybuttoffforthis 7 miles in what was supposed to be 28 degrees. It dropped a bit as the sun rose (?). The "feels like" temperature was 19. Holy heck. Thankfully I own a pair of fleece lined leggings from @athleta which I adore. Kept me nice and warm. Face is a bit rosy now. It's been a while since I've been in this kind of cold. It has been a long time since I've posted! It's the holiday season and things tend to get hectic here. I've been busy getting Christmas shopping done and preparing our home for family that's due here in 2 weeks. Add on the fact that my grad school application deadline is coming up and all of my daughter's school-related events this month and you can imagine how stressed I've been feeling lately. I'm still keeping up with my running except my weekly totals are usually around 15-17 mpw rather than 30-40. I'm dropped down to running 3 times a week and cross-training 3 times a week. I've definitely been enjoying the low-key exercise and getting to sleep in. I love training but really dislike how it can rob me of my mornings. Now I feel like I can focus more on family time. It's great timing if you ask me considering the holidays 😉 7 miles for today. I've made 7 my routine distance for the weekend. It's long enough so I feel like I've pushed myself a bit but am not spending hours away in the morning. Today was the first time where I've really pressed the pace just enough so I was glad to see I got it just under an hour. I've definitely been taking it a lot easier before today so the timing has been a bit slower than this the past few times. I'll probably be sporadic in posting for a bit. No turkey trot for me today so I did a nice longish solo run. Finished before 7 AM but got rained on for a bit. Rain cloud came out of nowhere! Did a little sugar cookie house decorating with my daughter before heading out for Thanksgiving with a friend.
