Is there any advice you’d give to aspiring creature/character designers ? Hope you’re having a great day btw❣️

Widen your net of influences! Absorb literally any and all art, design, literature you can and assemble a reference library of the stuff you find most inspirational. It sounds like one-size-fits-all advice but it’s been incredibly useful to have a repository of images that consistently get gears moving and pulling from a diverse set of sources increases the chances of triggering an interaction between two images no one else has! Also, don’t be afraid to indulge - I often feel guilty for returning to “favourite” design elements over and over, but enjoying the work you do is a good route to knocking loose a sudden flash of insight.

What’s your favorite video game and why?

it used to be Shadow of the Colossus because it’s such a gorgeous game and I played it so much when I was younger (also I loved riding horses when I was a kid and this allowed me to do it IN GAME!)

but now it’s honestly the Elder Scrolls Series. I really dig RPGs and Skyrim introduced me into my love for them! it just feels like home when I load up the game. I love forests, snow, animals and being able to steal and hoard tons of books and crystals ... so it’s pretty much perfect for me

What’s your favorite bloodborne boss? : >

if i can include dlc, then lady maria is my fave boss! i know some people don’t like her, but i think both she and her moveset are super cool!! 

excluding dlc… probably father gascoigne. i think he’s a really good boss to start the game with and really sets the mood for the rest of the game.
