my first Harrison tidbit! thank you so much for the request love 🩷🩷
i'm coming over - h. knott
The text had heat filling your cheeks. Well, more than the fever that was already consuming you. You'd been sick since the day prior, having to call in yesterday and today. Which had resulted in worried texts from your coworker, Harrison. It was initially just a 'hope you get better' text, but now were texts of concern about your fever not breaking.
A sigh left you as you tugged your thin sheet back over your body. As much as you would love to see the man you'd been crushing on for years, you just kind of felt like shit. You were a shivering mess but couldn't allow yourself to use an actual blanket. The sheet was enough for now, not wanting to make your fever worse.
The soft vibrations in your hand woke you from your borderline sleep. You checked your phone, noticing a text from Harrison saying he was there. As much as you wanted to tell him to sneak in through the side window so you wouldn't have to leave your bed, you didn't. Slowly you pushed the sheet off of you and headed to the front door of your place.
Harrison was smiling brightly when you opened the door, almost as bright as the sun you had avoided for the past two days. He was holding a bag of random items that had you squinting at him.
"What is that?" You asked while gesturing to the bag.
"Things to make you feel better," Harrison assured as he stepped inside and headed to your kitchen.
You followed him to your kitchen and wrapped your arms around yourself. Your hands rubbed against your skin, trying to soothe the feverish goosebumps that had blossomed across your skin. Harrison smiled at you again as he started to pull the items out of the bag.
"Okay, we got Tylenol, cough drops, Pedialyte, applesauce, and tea." Harrison grinned when he finished the list.
“Do you make house calls to all of your coworkers when they call in sick, or am i just that special?”
"Just that special I guess," Harrison said while avoiding eye contact.
You notice a red flush starts to creep on his cheeks. It was rather cute, the man you'd had a crush on for forever doing all of this for you. Truly something you'd watch on TV or read in a cheesy book. And that was exactly how it stayed for the rest of the night, him staying to keep you company while nursing you back to health.
Abby, can I kindly suggest for the birthday celebration "I'm going to fuck every last thought out of your pretty little head" with Jake Seresin? Because that definitely seems like something he'd say after you've had a long stressful day. Also happy birthday!! 🎂🍰🎈🎉🕯️🥳🧁🎁
here you are my dear twin. a grumpy Jake who is ready to fuck
The slam of the front door was surprising, making you jump. You turn from the dishes you had been washing, dropping the sponge and grabbing for a dish towel to dry your hands. A few steps were all you allowed yourself before calling out to your husband.
"Jake?"
There was a silence hanging in the for some time before you head towards the living room. Jake is sitting on the steps of the staircase, unlacing his boots in a slightly aggressive manner.
"Hey, baby," you greeted.
Jake looked up and over at you for a mere moment, focusing back on his boots. There were apparent darkened spots on his already black t-shirt, signs of a long outdoor training day. He usually didn't mind them, but his demeanor was off today. Once his boots were unlaced he pulled them off, haphazardly tossing them towards the shoe rack.
"Everything okay?" You asked as he made his way over to you.
The lack of response from him was starting to worry you. He had a stern look carved into his face you finally noticed. It was the look he always carried when work didn't go well. His hands moved to his belt, undoing it on his way over to you. The clinking wound of the belt hitting the floor sent chills of excitement all over your body. There was only one thing that helped him after a bad day at work.
His hands snaked around your waist, clutching at your ass and pulling you close to him. Your hands landed on his shoulders, grabbing the damp t-shirt he wore. There was a roughness to his touch that you welcomed, one that he used rarely.
"Jake, wha-"
Lips pressed harshly against your own. His tongue pushed past your lips, claiming and exploring all at the same time. He kept you pinned to him as he kneaded your ass. It was all consuming, like a snake consuming their meal. It was only when the both of you ran out of breath that he pulled back.
"I'm going to fuck every last thought out of your pretty little head."
¹⁷⁾ “let’s give them a real reason to be jealous.”
May I please request this with Flip or Mills?
I hope you have the best birthday ever! Thank you for taking requests 💛
of course you can! sorry it's so late!! <3
Flip's arm wrapped around your shoulders, pulling you a touch closer in the wrap around booth. All of you had decided to go out for work, which is what made his actions a little more confusing. The two of you had agreed to keep your relationship a secret, not wanting the station to find out. But tonight was different.
Ever since you had arrived, Flip was at your side. You weren't used to this type of affection from him, it was exciting but overwhelming all at once. You had been hoping for this since the two of you had been involved. Just something more than stolen kisses in the records room and late nights in his truck. Even the nights in his bed, cigarette smoke swirling around the two of you, were barely a reflection of your emotions.
Flip was a reserved person, not showing how he fully felt most of the time. There had been a handful of times at the station you had seen him lose his cool over a case, but nothing that made you shy away from him. If anything it drew you to him, wanting to draw out those bottled up emotions. Draw out whatever deep desires he had hidden away.
The vodka cranberry you were sipping on was filling you with a type of warmth. One that was adding to the kindling that had been there since Flip had been all over you. Your eyes flicked up towards the bar, thoughts of your next drink already filling your mind. It was as if you were celebrating this minor achievement. As you were scanning the bar some eyes started to settle on you.
Some men up at the bar were chatting, leaning back while drinking there beers and staring at you. One of them winked at you and shot a nod your way, sipping his beer after. You scrunched your eyebrows a little, looking away from them and back to everyone at the table. You could feel Flip's hand creep to the side of your neck, squeezing lightly at your skin.
"Hmm?" You leaned a little closer to him. You noticed that his eyes were trained forward, zeroed in on the guys at the bar.
Flip didn't say anything at first, just glancing at you then looking back at the men at the bar. The guy who had winked at you seemed to be in a staring contest with Flip. His hand started to knead you neck while he took a drink of his own beer.
"Flip?" Nothing. "Phillip."
"Hmm?" Flip hummed, finally looking at you.
"What are you doing?" You asked a little playfully.
"Making sure people know you're mine," Flip's words were calm.
"Come on, Flip," you chuckled, trying to hide your amusement, "their just jealous."
⋆ “i can’t sleep either through it either. wanna talk?” and ⋆ “please forget every time i’ve ever been irate with you over your candle collection.” with Hangman (TGM) please.
a little angsty jake piece for you!! <3
Each boom of thunder had you readjusting yourself in bed, only for the following strike of lightning to illuminate your room. A storm like this hadn't come through in a long time. Honestly, the last time you could even recall one was during college. As soon as you heard another loud clap of thunder you sat up, deciding it was no use trying to sleep right now.
Your phone illuminated your face as you checked the time. When you noticed that the little charging icon was on your battery symbol you frowned. Fuck. Of course the power would go out. After checking your bed side table it was confirmed. You grabbed a random zip up hoodie, that was thrown on top of your dresser, put it on and stepped out into the hallway.
The hallway felt darker than normal, making you walk to the end and flick the light switch, even though you knew the lights wouldn't turn on. You let out a sigh as you headed to the closet in the entry way, digging out a few candles. When you came back into the living room, you noticed a dark figure making it's way towards you. Your stomach dropped, nausea and anxiety filling the empty space.
"Can't sleep?" Jake's voice was gruff and low.
"Not really," you replied, setting the candles down on the coffee table in front of the couch.
"I can't sleep either," Jake rubbed the back of his neck while watching you. " Why'd you get all those out?"
"Power's out," you started towards the kitchen, headed for the junk drawer to find a lighter.
"Well, please forget every time I've ever been irate over your candle collection," he offered the half-assed apology while pulling the lids off the candles for when you returned with the lighter.
When you returned he held one of the candles out to you. You ran the little wheel under your thumb twice before the flame finally took. Jake stayed patient, still holding the candle out for you. Once lighting all three wicks of the candle you noticed that Jake was shirtless.
The light, from the flames that were eating away at the candle wicks, was cascading over his chest. The small shadows from his defined muscles were taunting, trying to tempt you. It was hard to tear your eyes away from his chest, the one that you had been under a few days ago.
Instead of looking away, you were trailing your eyes up his torso and neck, finally looking at his face. The candle light was accenting every edge of his face. His green eyes looked darker in the warm light, a type of sadness in the color. They looked nothing like they did days ago.
"Wanna talk?" Jake asked softly, eyes not leaving yours.
"No, I don't think I do."
Happy birthday!! Can I please get "you’re freezing, come here.” With Hangman?

summary: Your childhood best friend, Jake, is home from deployment. The two of you spend the day together and it ends with a cold but sweet treat.
a/n: sorry this took so long to write! my blurbs keep end up being longer than just blurbs lmao. i hope you enjoy!!
The day had started out great. Jake was home on leave for a little bit, meaning that you finally got to see your best friend after months of his deployment. He had promised you one full day of hanging out when he had left. So, it was time for him to honor that promise.
The day had started with brunch from his favorite local diner, to which he ordered his classic sunny side up eggs with crispy bacon and toast. You ordered your own favorite meal, earning teasing when you ordered your classic cup of orange juice. Jake never let you live that down, always joking that you were never going to fully grow up.
The two of you spent the next few hours doing whatever. It was so refreshing to finally have Jake home. He was your best friend no matter what, even if you happened to have a little bit more than just platonic feelings for him. It was hard not to like him. He had that Texan charm you had grown up dreaming about.
Charm with a bit of asshole to him, and it honestly made your heart sing. Maybe that's because he didn't intimidated you, instead it pushed you to be an asshole right back at him. Which Jake himself loved about you. Every time you ever swore at him and yelled at him, he would later that night think about it in bed, wondering if you would speak that way if you were underneath him.
The two of you were currently in some random field outside of town. Jake had decided to drive the old beater truck he had during high school while he was in town. So the tailgate was currently down, the both of you sitting on it with your legs dangling. The soft yet dry tall grass was brushing against your ankles.
"Are you serious?" You laughed after asking.
"Come on, of course, how could you not believe me?" Jake retorted.
"You weren't a track star in school, that's why!"
"I played football," Jake reminded you.
"As a QB, not a running back!" You could help the laughter that came from you.
"Fine," Jake hoped off the tailgate, "let's race."
The laughter immediately stopped when you heard him. You both had been too caught up in each other to have noticed the darker clouds starting to consume the sky. You gave Jake a serious look, tiling your head as if to question his seriousness.
"Hey, I'm being serious here," Jake threw his hands up in defense.
"One hundred percent?" You questioned.
He took his right index finger and drew a cross over his heart. You hoped down off the tailgate and stood face to face with him. You crossed your arms, signaling that you meant business.
"What's in it for me?"
"I'll buy you ice cream," Jake said.
"Fence line?"
Jake shook his head yes, that stupid smirk on his face. Without a second thought you took off running. You heard Jake yell from behind you about how he never said start. All you did was throw a middle finger back at him. Jake chased you all the way to the fence line, huffing once he finally caught up to you. You had been waiting for only a few seconds since reaching it. Your own breath was heavy, lungs struggling to keep up.
"Guess you aren't that fast," you chuckled while trying to steady your breathing. You looked over at Jake and then leaned again the fence post next to you.
"I don't know if that counts," Jake joked. He moved near you, putting a hands on the same post you were leaning on.
The two of you were close, only a few inches separating your bodies. Smiles adorned both of your faces while you stared at each other. You could never get tried of staring at him. Yeah, he looked like a generic jock, but he was your generic jock. Those green eyes never left yours, and a part of was starting to wonder if the two of you were moving closer towards one another.
Suddenly there was a loud rumble through the sky. It was only then that both of you noticed the dark sky. You examined the sky, a small drop of water hit your skin. Jake felt one too, looking at you quickly. It was seconds before a complete down pour started. You howled in laughter and shock as Jake just started laughing. After a few more seconds of taking the rain in, you ran back towards the truck. Jake was right behind you, stopping to lift the tailgate back up while you climbed into the cab.
"Holy shit," the words were breathy from your laughter.
"That was a surprise," Jake said.
The both of you were practically soaked. His t-shirt was practically a different color now. Yours was about the same though. Little goosebumps were starting to prick up along your skin. Jake noticed this when you wrapped your arms around yourself. He reached out hesitantly, brushing his knuckles against your skin.
"You're freezing," he whispered, "come here."
Jake opened his arms and gestured for you to move closer to him. You hesitated for a minute, eventually moving into his arms. Jake's arm were so warm, they were like one of his old sweatshirts that you had stolen forever ago. The sound of rain filled the silence between the two of you.
"I missed you."
The words came out of your mouth before you could stop them. You sat up a little and looked at Jake. There was worry weaved through your expression as if you had done something wrong. Jake moved a hand to your jaw, cupping it then leaning in.
Neither of you fought it, leaning into the kiss and your emotions. For so long the both of you had fought them, telling yourselves that this couldn't be real. But it was.
Jake pulled back and just stared at you, a small smile on his lips. He rubbed his thumb against your cheek, marveling internally at how soft your skin was.
Would you please do this prompt for Mills or Flip? (Adam Driver characters)
⋆ “god, you’re freezing! come here, let me warm you up.”
Thank you! I hope you have a great birthday!
omg! thank you so much for requesting an adam driver character! i hope i did Mills justice (:
This was not supposed to happen. You were not supposed to crash on this god forsaken planet. It was supposed to go smoothly, a regular transport mission like normal. If it wasn't for that ridiculous asteroid field. The one that Mills was supposed to miss.
Did you blame him for this? No. Were you mad at him? Yes.
You knew that it was ridiculous to be mad at him, but you just couldn't help it. And he couldn't either. The situation had put the both of you on edge. Not only that, but the ship was barely stocked for a situation like this.
You were lucky to have found the equipment able to figure out if things were okay to eat or not, which also happened to purify water. Some grenades were in the stock, a long with one gun and a knife. The ship had been lacking in medical supplies, which had also added to your frustration.
Day after day the two of you had been barely surviving. Large creatures had chased you through out the area. The landscape was unpredictable, change what felt like every time you turned around. And the weather was even more unpredictable than the landscape, which the two of you were trying to survive right now.
It had been on and off raining all day, resulting in the temperature lowering. Just like the ship not having the proper supplies, neither of you had the proper clothing to accommodate the rain and cooler temperatures. You two couldn't afford to stop moving during the day though, so you made your way through the wooded areas and hoped time would pass before you got hypothermia. Eventually the two of you stumbled upon a cave as it started to turn dark.
It felt nice to be out of the rain, finally getting some much needed cover. As much as you wanted to strip off your wet clothes you couldn't. Everything outside was wet, meaning neither of you would be able to find kindling or sticks for a fire. Instead, Mills decided to illuminate the cave with the tracking device so at least the two of you could see.
The both of you were on separate sides of the cave, the noise of rain being the only thing filling the cave. You had your knees pulled to your chest, trying to maintain some form of warmth. You kept trying not to stare over at him, but you couldn't help it.
He was looking out of the cave, keeping an eye out in case anything braved the rain to find their way in. The way his wet hair was framing his face was stirring something inside of you. A weird part of you wished that you could run your fingers through his hair, pushing it back to show off more of his face.
"Hmm?" Mills voice was low and deep.
You stared at him for a moment, shocked he said anything. A shiver ran through you from the cool temp of the cave and your wet clothes.
"I didn't say anything," you replied.
"But you're staring," he looked back from the cave entrance at you.
His gaze was making your insides squirm. You pulled your legs a little closer to you, try to counteract the chills that were setting in now.
"Sorry," you whispered, then turned to look out of the cave.
Mills had taken notice to your frequent shivers. He knew that the wet clothes didn't help, but he was hoping that at least the cover would help. Apparently, he was proven wrong. He stood up and walked over to your side of the cave, sitting down next to you. He was shoulder to shoulder with you now, startling you a little.
"Why are you-"
"You’re freezing, come here, let me warm you up.” His words were soft and caring.
You stared at him for a moment, feeling a little unsure. When you didn't move he put an arm around you, pulling you towards him. He helped you shift to a comfortable position, your back to his chest with his arms wrapped around you. You were shocked with how warm he was, practically a heater.
"Better?" He asked cautiously.
"Yeah, better," you now shyly responded.
The chills and shivers slowly started to disappear. His heat was comforting, making you almost forget about the warm bed back on your home planet. But for the time being, this would be more than enough.
For the blurb requests, can I please have jake seresin + “I didn’t know how much I wanted this until now.” from the “after they kiss you prompts?
ahhhh, thank you so much!! i hope you enjoy it <3
Music was slowly drifting out of the sliding glass door that you had left cracked open. It was a house warming party, or at least that's what Bradley said it was. When he brought it up you chuckled because he had already been living in the house for eight months. You knew the real reason, he just wanted to have everyone here. As much as you loved Bradley, he was terrible at voicing his true intentions.
Even though there was only eight of you, the house had started to feel stuffy. It warmth from all the drinks you'd had probably didn't help. You could feel the warmth of the alcohol in your cheeks, just like you always did while you drank. Plus, you had to get away from him.
Jake.
He hadn't done anything to annoy you yet tonight, but that was the weird thing. Over the past few weeks, hell, maybe even a month or two, he had become significantly less annoying. It made you start to over analyze every interaction, trying to figure out what the hell he was suddenly doing different. Or what you had done differently.
Things had started to change between the two of you. The two of you had started texting more frequently. It had become a daily thing, checking in with each other before and after work. Texting all day. The only thing the two of you didn't text each other was good morning. You saved that for when you saw each other in the morning at work. But the good night barrier had been breached, and when it did you got a weird flip feeling in your stomach.
The thing you hadn't expected when you showed up tonight was Jake dressed like slut. He was wearing a fitting button up with the top few buttons undone, a tighter than normal pair of black jeans, and his hair a little messy. You couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed when you felt your cunt clench and heart flutter. And the fact that he wouldn't stay out of your bubble? Maddening. He was always behind you or next to you, the occasional touch from his hand. It had definitely contributed to the heat the was engulfing your body.
You stood in the slightly cooler air, taking in deep yet shallow breaths. You just wanted the heat to escape your body, and Jake to get out of your mind. Slowly, you walked out into the picture-esque backyard taking your time before staring up at the sky. It wasn't completely dark out yet, little bits of orange and pink being chased by a black blue color.
You hadn't heard the sliding door open, but you had heard footsteps headed towards you. It wasn't completely shocking when you turned to see Jake, but you weren't sure if you were thrilled about it.
"What are you doin' out here?" Jake asked in a playful tone.
A flutter appeared in your chest at his drawl. It always came out more when he drank, something you had picked up on through your time spent together.
"It was getting to warm in there," you replied and kicked the grass a little, "fresh air and all that."
Jake nodded as he finally approached you. He tilted his head and looked at you. There was a goofy smile on his face, a charming yet goofy smile. The both of you stared at the sky, watching as the darkness engulfed the remaining sunlight. After a few minutes you heard Jake let out a sigh.
"Hmm?"
"Ah, nothin," Jake said.
You looked over at him, giving him a playfully confused look.
"Suuuure," you exaggerated.
"What?" Jake turned a little to look at you.
"You always have something to say," you smiled as you turned towards him.
"That's not always true."
"Hah, sure it isn't," you smiled as he raised an eyebrow at you.
"Fine," Jake started, " you wanna know?"
"Obviously, I wouldn't have asked if I didn't."
"Well, you didn't really ask," Jake said with a shrug.
You swatted at him, laughing at him as he tried to shield himself.
"Oh my god, just tell me."
"Fine, fine, okay," Jake through an arm around you and pulled you close to him. "You see the sunset, right?"
"Yeah." Your voice got a little quieter. You weren't expecting him to pull you into him. His scent was starting to fill your nostrils, making your pulse quicken. The heat from his body was reigniting the one that had started to subside within you.
"It's beautiful," Jake looked at you, "just like you."
The two of you sat there for a moment, staring into one another's eyes. Your faces mere mere inches away from one another's. His hand moved to cup your jaw, thumb rubbing softly against your skin. His flicked down to your lips briefly. When his gaze moved back to yours, it was full of affection.
You were the one who leaned forward, pressing your lips together. The hand that was cupping your jaw moved a little farther back to cradle the base of your head. The movement of his lips against your felt heavenly. Your hands crept up the front of him, one resting flat on his chest while the other moved to barely touch his neck. When the kiss was broken, there was still the same amount of affection in Jake's eyes as before.
"I didn't know how much I want that until now," you said with a shy smile.
For your blurb party....how about TG:M Bob and “what are you doing here?”
thank you so much emily! i'm sorry but this turned out a little more angsty than i intended.
His heart was racing as he made his way up the stairs. Each beat could be heard in his ear drums. Nervous beats driving his anxiety through the roof. Bob wasn't exactly sure why he was doing this, but he just had too. Especially after hearing that you were leaving. He refused to let you leave without telling you.
The summer had been perfect.
He hadn't expected you to come home for the summer. It was more than a pleasant surprise. Then when you continually came by his families coffee shop he knew something was different. The way the two of you kept stealing glances from another. All the late nights at the coffee shop, you staying to help him close then heading to the old ice cream shop. Staying out under the stars while the both of you finished your cold sweet.
Throughout the summer he had learned that you had someone waiting for you back in the city. That someone wasn't the best though, a blonde model looking douche bag that treated you like shit. Bob didn't understand why you stayed with him still, and honestly it didn't sound to him like you did either. He had tried hard to understand, but you also didn't really try to explain it too him.
Then one night to two of you went out to the bar. Drinks after drinks, a random shot here and there. By time last call rolled around the two of you were laughing and stumbling down the street. You were attached to his side, one arm thrown around his shoulder and directing him towards the apartment you were renting. It was above one of shops on main street, meaning a set of stairs would be an obstacle.
Once in the apartment, you had pulled him onto the bed with you. That was when you told him "I wish I would have never left" and he asked the age old question "why?". That was when you moved closer to him and caressed his face.
"I love you."
Your body had felt perfect underneath of him. Skin softer than he could have ever imagined. Each noise that came from you sounded like a symphony. The way your hands ghosted over his own body, chest pressed tightly to his. Feeling the pure ecstasy running from your body to his. It was enough to set the world on fire.
But once the two of you woke the world shattered. Reality was back, the alcohol having left your systems. He felt terrible when you started to panic and break down. Bob held you as you sobbed against his chest. When you asked him to leave it broke him. Then when he heard you were leaving town next week he couldn't function.
And now he stood in front of the old apartment door. There were only two days left. It had taken him a long time to gather the courage to face you. To potentially break what tiny amount of friendship the two of you still had, if any at all.
He knocked lightly.
Bob was shocked when you opened the door quickly. You honestly looked like a mess, but still beautiful to him.
"What are you doing here?"
"You can't leave," Bob pleaded.
"Wha-what?" You asked him.
"You can't leave," Bob repeated. "I'm sorry about that night, but I love you and I can't stand the thought of you going back to him."
"Bob, we can't do this," your eyes were starting to tear up.
"That's not true," Bob's own eyes were starting to tear up.
"Bob," you stepped towards him.
Bob felt you press your lips to his. They were just as soft as that night. The kiss reminded him of all the emotions from that night. You had said that you loved him, and he could feel it through the kiss. But before he knew it, you were pulling back and stepping back into the apartment.
"I love you, but I'm sorry."
Those were the last words he heard before you closed the door on him.
