usually the ox was oh so optimistic in his current ( YET , UNFORTUNATE ! ) situation in life . he knew the hand he was dealt was CRUEL & unfair , but he learned to put a smile on & cope with it the best he could . most would be bitter & ready to die . he wasn’t giving up so easily — not yet at least . but talking to a stranger he wasn’t comfortable with was not something he was up for . ‘ is this required ? ’
