Mountain Monster #3: Lagowark

Element - Metal Diet - Herbivore Drops - Lagoshell Habitat - Ridge Mountains, Craggy Mountains

These monsters lounge atop rocks on ridge mountains, sitting and dozing in the warm breezes. Lagowark are unbothered by other monsters, as their shell is a near-impenetrable defence. It can also use its tail and hind legs to launch itself at high speeds when tucked inside. Pairs of Lagowark may challenge each other by knocking their shells together in this way.

I love early season Buck. He’s like yeah I joined AIMS which specifically hunts cryptids but there must be a logical explanation as to what is happening. Also they all make fun of him for being the youngest 😭

I bet it’s so fun being on Mountain Monsters like you just run around the woods at night with your friends and build traps that seems so genuinely fun

Mountain Monster: Irisoar

Using the eye markings on its wings, it intimidates its prey, before extending its tongue to catch and pull the target into its mouth. These eye markings seem to glow very softly at night, which can be a somewhat unsettling sight. It has a special pouch on its stomach it can store many things in - from nest materials, to leftover food, to even its young.

Mountain Monster: Castolarm

For most of their lives, Castomal do the building and gathering of materials, but the oldest of their community are known as Castolarm. They defend the Castomal from other monsters, using a pike reforged from the hammer they once used.

Mountain Monster: Castomal

High on snowy mountains is where small communities of Castomal live. They use their hammers to chip away at ice and rock, building small settlements with the materials. Sometimes they can be seen sledding down the mountain on their tails, which they seem to do just for fun.
