The Tastes of Scottsdale
Often, when I attend a conference in one city, an event or two are held in nearby locales. I find it to be a tease, and that’s what happened in this case. As member and a co-director of the Association of Food Journalists, I attended the national convention in Phoenix in September 2018. An evening event was held in nearby Scottsdale at the Hermosa Inn. I knew then, I would need to come back to explore the vibrancy of Scottsdale’s energetic urban landscape in the Sonoran desert, Native American arts and culture, its modern and historic resorts and, of course, experience the brag-worthy culinary scene.

Fall has officially arrived at Mountain Shadow‘s signature restaurant Hearth 61. Executive Chef Charles Wiley has created an ingredient-driven menu that will fully highlight the flavors of the season.
The fall menu will emphasize new signature flatbreads, bright and flavorful salads along with hearty seafood specialities.
