Let’s start with the CARE of a mounted plant before we guide you through how to make one with our brand new kits. Mounted plants may look intimidating however they are quite easy to maintain, given they receive the proper light. Most epiphytes love bright, filtered light with some dappled direct sun; similar to their native habitats where they are attached to trees and other plants, they typically receive light that is diffused by the tree canopies. Always try to emulate a plants native environment, no matter how they’re displayed in the home. Watering is determined by your plant, as I always like to say, let your plant tell you when they’re ready for watering. Epiphytes will show wrinkled leaves, a softer leaf texture or even droop when thirsty. Ready to make your own? Easy care for most: very bright filtered light, some direct can be okay and fully soak 1-2 x a week depending on the dryness in your home. Easy peasy.
