By far my funniest AU is my "Jack get's grabbed for the Innaugural Wards AU". (Dear Wormwood AU for short) Basically he gets press ganged into them, shortly after getting 'rescued' from the nine. It leads to many shenanigans.

Anyway the explanation for this particular art:

Jack really fucking hates Miss Militia.

This for a couple reasons. She didn't have the best grasp of English when they first met, so like... his usual method of 'rage baiting people until they hit first, fighting back, and then playing victim when called out' did not work. Because she did not get what he was saying. Also, she's stronger than him, so any attempts to instigate fights physically kinda... failed. Which annoys him on principle.

He's also jealous of her trigger event and history. She got blood and gore and glorious violence. He got years of isolation and slowly losing his marbles, followed by a cold realisation. He doesn't care that she lost her family, because that's like. a non issue to him. It's incredibly bizarre and born of incredibly warped priorities.

Bonus: Chev and MM start dating, and that just. Cinches the hatred. Jack actually gets along with Chev, with Chev kinda slotting him into a 'shithead younger sibling' role in his brain. Jack is completely unaware of that, and has a crush on him. He does not realise this, because his baseline for friendship is Harbinger, who he also had a massive crush on.

He is besties with Mouse Protector (yes i love irony), however that is an entirely different schema, because MP is a girl, so he doesn't get quite the same crossed wires. They are both instigators, and honestly MP's brand of 'causing problems on purpose' is pretty good for him. Ways to act out without resorting to maiming people.

Anyway this leads to MP and Jack both attempting to mess with Chev and MM on their dates, but MP actually getting kinda concerned because hey buddy uh. You seem genuinely mad about this.

Chev and MM are aware of these twos shenanigans. They ignore them, because they are not about to have their cute park date ruined by two annoying preteens.

Heroic version of 'May gets adopted by String Theory' is May gets adopted by Mouse Protector.

This would be great for two reasons.

1. Mouse girl-Bunny girl solidarity

2. They would be extremely annoying. Ravager will be begging for the Bird Cage by the end of it.

As a bonus, if they ever cross paths with the NY Wards, Lily will have to deal with an even more annoying version of May than canon.

Saw the perfect piece for Mouse Protector and thought, why not pick it up? She basically became meat lego so it’s fitting

Three part Mouse protector fic in the style of a Saturday morning cartoon filled with morals and lessons for kids. The second part is a gritty reimagining of the original story that barely resembles the original show but gets unceremoniously cancelled half way through . The third part is a big budget cash grab movie that ruins the source material.

MP and Ravager have fun homoerotic dynamic in the original show that turns into messy and abusive friendship turned enemies in the gritty reimagining and then into an explicitly stated homosexual relationship that’s mentioned once but is easily cut for Chinese audiences.

MP has a side kick with a goofy gimmick in the original show that becomes a violent loose cannon with a hatred for MP in the reimagining and then back to a side kick in the movie but it keeps hinting towards them becoming that loose cannon in a sequel that’ll never come.

The original show is clearly made with love and with the support of mouse protector herself. The reimagining was made due to rights changes but MP thought it was funny to voice her own character. MP has no opinion and was not involved in the movie on account of being bonesawed.

Totally not Bonesaw’s in the movie too as an adult because taste is not something understood by corporations.
