It is only when each part understands what its own stake is, what its strengths are and whats its resources are, that they can understand their self sufficiency, and intensify work towards improving that. The increase in the prices of food produce, happens usually when the major producers restrict distribution. Now thats just a hint. Imagine what would happen if that supply stopped, with no operational plan to provide cushion for succour. We must define how we want to operate first, make a plan, one that's feasible and realistic in terms of estimations and expectations. Then gauge our strength to see if we have what it takes to truly stand independently. Otherwise, it would have been a case of embarking on a journey without a destination in sight. ON THE BIGGER SCALE ...We will most likely find, we may have to dialogue with some externals to see how each can help the next nation e.g; How Biafra can help Oduduwa Republic with Oil, in exchange for Cocoa, or Marijuana. If such talks are not had before hand, It could spell doom. For instance, if the west are still not self sufficient, the effect would be felt on the other parts because of the spillover effect. Being the closest neighbours, the porosity of our borders, and ease of migration makes either country the next destination for survival. Which would happen mostly by robbery and murder, amidst highly dictatorial communes, controlled by armed militia. The interesting twist to this is, in the attempt to understand or determine how each would be self sufficient after the break-up, we would have automatically found a way to make our federalism function as expected.
