My favourite movie trope ever is when character A reveals something groundbreaking to character B and it just cuts away to a POV where you cant hear any sound, like from behind an interrogation room mirror, but can distinctly see character B lose their shit and just start screaming and yelling while character A just stands there awkwardly.
Even better if there are third party characters just watching character B go apeshit.
The movie trope of the troubled boy who never played catch with their dad is the worst trope. I’ve never seen one serial killer documentary where the guy was butt hurt at his dad for never having a game of catch. Mommy issues, on the other hand...
Realization just hit me that it's a fucking movie trope! The whole I'm becoming a criminal because my kid/sig other/parent needs surgery i can't pay for. Seriously WTF!?!?!!
