Spent the last week setting my move to Colorado in motion. Missed my little pup so much while i was out there finding a place to live and I’m glad she hung out with me while I practiced this morning. I’m so excited for the two of us to move west and start a new chapter together. I’m going to miss a lot about New York but I think CO is going to give us some great adventures. West Wind

I wait in uncertainty.

Life has caught up with me.

I left the safety of the nest and flew,

Now I’m flying but I don’t for who.

I want to reason;

Convince this is not treason.

But deep in their hearts they won’t accept.

Either way, life’s got regret.

As I’ve been flying near the nest,

I felt a call from the west.

It was not loud or constant;

It was just the wind that brought it.

I initially want to be sorry for leaving for my adventure,

But maybe I will find faith in this gesture.

We are headed west! All our earthly belongings are packed up and we've started our #crosscountryroadtrip to Port Angeles, WA. We already battled two major storms in Wisconsin and Minnesota and are now driving through South Dakota. The light is clear out west.
