i have been thinking a lot about body horror concerning hugh apiston lately
Millard and Hugh are the best characters in MPHFPC btw
(the books cause I just rewatched the movie and WOW is it worse than I remember)
ello was all dis then
finished A Conference of Birds and oh boy that was a book. The cliffhanger was so good! i got the next book waiting for me at home and i cant wait nya
doodles from holiday last week and a sneaky look at me trying to draw all the mphfpc characters and starting at Jacob (and immedetly k.oing from drawing)
i went looking for millard nullings playlists on spotify because why not, I’m re-reading the Miss Peregrine’s books and wanted to listen to a character-themed playlist. The subtle disappointment that swept over me at finding that none of them had “The Invisible Man” on there,,, like guys,,, it was RIGHT there,
I wonder how the mphfpc kids would feel about Ke$ha-
I have no clue where this idea came from but I'm just imagining the look of pure horror on everyone's faces from the lewd lyrics, and then there's just Enoch and Millard fucking busting out moves.
Okokokok guys
SO
I just spent like a hour watching educational videos on YouTube instead of doing my math homework. (If anyone wants to know the videos I can tell you them)
BUT I ANSWERED MY INVISIBILITY QUESTION
...the shadow one
ok, so ready for a long post?
First: our normal idea of invisibility means that light passes THROUGH someone instead of reflecting off of them. Ok so that means that they wouldn’t be able to see.
The way that people see is that light reflects off of other things and into our eyes. But... light passes right through them. Therefore, they can’t see.
So, I’m just going to use what MPHFPC says for invisibility because... because this is a post about MPHFPC.
We know Millard can see. If anyone can prove that wrong somehow, tell me. But there’s another thing. You can see Millard’s blood/throw up. (See: time he got shot in the first book, him throwing up in amod after the car ride)
What does that mean? We know that light doesn’t pass through him since he can see, so that means with have to go with the OTHER form of invisibility.
Camouflage. Millard isn’t transparent, he just reflects the background behind him.
So why can we see when he bleeds? Is his skin kind of like an invisibility cloak? If that were the case we would see his hair, eyes and the inside of his mouth. Skin has nothing to do with it.
Everything up to this has tried to stay science but I’m still a dumbass so...
I guess like, there’s just a really thin covering over his entire body? Including inside of mouth? Kinda like if he was wrapped in magical invisiblity plastic wrap? And when he’s injured or anything exits his body, it ‘breaks’ the wrap?
Uh, in conclusion, he has a shadow
If there’s anyone that has spent more time on Wikipedia/educational YouTube please tell me how wrong I am
Millard Nullings is literally the fanboy of Peculiars.
