Strangers can define you based on physical features. People who know you can define you based on both physical features and your personality features. There are overlapping thoughts from people around you and your inner thoughts, however only you can define yourself, no one knows you better than yourself. There are things only you know about yourself and those thoughts are important; even when they aren't the happiest ones. It's important to have your own thoughts because that is what makes you different.
