When she noticed over sns that Valerie had finally finished her travels and returned to the island, she was completely thrilled. The fates appeared to have worked in her favor. With the night off, she could full celebrate their reunion and her friend's birthday. There was nothing this evening that could go wrong, and she had been dying for some good, genuine time with a woman of Valerie's level. A girl's day, she dressed the part and for the expensive restaurant.

So, as Yingyue arrived to the Noonas, she elected for a private booth at the back of the restaurant with the perfect view of the pretty cellist. Yingyue had not yet been to the restaurant, but she had many patrons of Sakura bashfully ask to take her there on a date. So either it was a delicious spot or an expensive one, regardless, it seemed fitting. So, she walked in and advised the host that her friend would "super quiet and beautiful."

By the time she was seated, the demigoddess pulled her phone out, and she sent a quick message to Valerie. "Hey. I have our table. Hurry up, birthday girl. Or, I will have to tell the waiter it is your birthday so they sing for you."

Val wasn’t super rich like a bunch of Yue’s clients, but she still cared about her soul sister and wanted to celebrate her bestie’s holidays with her!  So of course she made her friend a custom across-the-body leather bag with a blossoming branch motif.  And inside, a bottle of delicious MianRou Dukang Baijiu that tasted something like a cantaloupe on the first taste followed by musty pepper and a sweet, almost licorice-like finish; a mild spirit, but a delicious one that was an adventure from start until final drop!

Once of the good things about Sakura was the sea of gifts she had gotten for Lunar New Year. From simple to expensive, she cherished everything equally. The demigoddess did care to a degree about her quality of life, but the demigoddess was not a materialistic woman. When she found the gift from Valerie, the demigoddess was quite pleased. Yes. The gifts that were selected were absolutely amazing, but more importantly, her favorite demigoddess took the time to get her something. And so, the demigoddess sent a sweet voice note to the other, thanking her for the gift. Setting the gifts aside, the alcohol did not move far. She was most definitely finishing that in one go despite Valerie’s message.

Missed Hit

Angela had dropped her son off with one of their friends for the day. She had desperately needed a break, and with a lot on her mind, she had finally needed to escape back into the forest. Between work and Siwoo, she had not allowed herself this reprieve for months, and so, the demigoddess had been a bit too impatient, only heading a mile in before she shifted into a beautiful black jaguar.

Though she shift, she quickly sped deeper into the forest, finally a few miles in from the edge of the forest. Not super deep, though, Angela did not think that she would dare see anyone with how snowy the island had been as of lately. So, once she got to a comfortable spot at the base of a thick tree, the demigoddess had found a very comfortable spot to lay down in. In this form, she could finally allow herself some peace.

Though, she would not rest for too long in her spot. Angela had no idea of anyone around her, completely and pleasantly warm in her little ball she had curled into. So when the arrow flew in her direction, it was far too late for her to realize, piecing deep into her shoulder. A loud, pained roar fell from her lips, and the feline's eye shot to the direction of the arrow. However, she saw no one. Yet, that did not stop her from managing to drag herself up, leaping away in the direction of her clothes. All she could hope is that she could get to her clothes, and her attacker would realize that she was not the dangerous feline she truly was. Angela could only bank on this being a mistake.
