( an intimate continuation from here. )
His curt laugh reverberated around the spacious bathroom.
His eyes watched, openly checking her out as Hecate walked away from him with the proud rhetorical question of hers. The goddess was definitely something else, with her magic and darkness so foreign that he could not help but staring, and that may be why they kept coming back to stir up each other’s timeline in one way or another.
“You forgot the ocean, my dear Hecate.”
Susanoo’s statement was accompanied by the giggles of water as he raised and stepped out from the bathtub. The gentle lights casting down from the ceiling reflect the water running down his frame, making his skin glow, almost glossy. Leisurely, he threw on a white bathrobe, tied it loosely around his waist, then followed her to the dining room.
He waited for their eyes to meet again, and that was when the corners of his lips lifted up into a playful smile, “You want some wine? Or should we just go down to the ‘main course’?”
Their history was simple. While wandering this world, it is natural to cross paths with other godly beings and sometimes, attraction is inevitable. It had happened with one other god too, but for Susanoo, it was slightly different. There were no emotional ties, no connection beyond the physical desire. And both wished to keep it that way and that is why Hecate would occasionally revisit their past in the present.
She smirked at this response. "Did I though? Perhaps I do still need you from time to time." The push and pull came naturally whenever they'd spend time together, a brief moment of amusement before the focus shifted. "Why not both?" She replied back, moving towards where she knew Susanoo would store the drinks. Hecate hoped Susanoo would simply follow, so there was no hesitation as she indulged herself, selecting the bottle of her preference and preparing the drinks.
"Since when are you so narrow-minded?" Hecate teased, returning to stand in front of him and handing the glass. Once the other held it, her hand moved to undo his robe's knot and her fingers trailed his side, feeling his soft skin as her lips pampered his jaw with brief pecks. She would start gently, especially not to ruin the expensive wine.
