Tender hearts
starter for @mpxcharlotte
It hadn't been long since the incident where one of her daughters had been turned into a cat by her sisters. Yet there she was, about to entertain her wish to see Charlotte again. Of all the girls, she was the most tolerant one, or at the very least, the one that tolerated Hecate's presence for more than five minutes. Her intentions were kind, simply wanting to spend time with Charlotte without being surrounded by an incident and Hecate's hunch that the demigoddess would be working until the closing time was delightfully on point. Being on good terms with Sol helped Hecate to feel more at ease when entering The Lion's Den. Her daughters were Hecate's biggest weakness and her heart was still very tender when it came to facing them.
"Good evening Charlotte." Hecate made sure to make her presence known before speaking, knocking on the nearest wooden shelf and smiling fondly at her daughter. Seven o'clock hit, which meant the demigoddess would possibly end her shift soon. "I apologize for appearing suddenly, but, I was wondering if you’d join me for a cup of coffee, or cake once you’re done here?” Evidently the goddess hoped Charlotte would be willing to consider her proposal, but if by any means the answer wouldn’t match her expectations, Hecate could do nothing but to respect her daughter’s decision.
