I'm doing it.

I'm gonna write more stories for the Mr. Brookes extended universe.

I've already got the first lines for the next installment:

Lady Danbury was going to kill someone.

She had said that many times over the years, but this time, she truly meant it. The problem was, she just wasn’t precisely sure who she should try to kill first.

The next installment of the Mr. Brookes Extended Universe is currently being written. For your patience while I waded through my vague personal stuff this month, here's a small snippet of what's coming next:

Kate was not looking forward to seeing her sister.

She felt guilty even thinking it. Kate loved her sister. She had guided her, protected her, educated her, and even helped to raise her when their mother suffered from her melancholy after their father passed.

But being around Edwina lately had not been easy.

It had been hard enough for Kate to admit to herself that she had fallen for the viscount. It had been even harder for her to gather up the courage to finally admit it to her sister. Then the rug had been pulled out from under her, and now Kate was forced to smile and nod and help plan her sister’s wedding to the man that Kate had feelings for.

She should have fled England the same day her sister became betrothed.

Every day since the proposal, the pain and heartbreak Kate was feeling kept growing and she was forced to endure it all in silence, with a placid smile on her face. Now, she was faced with the very real possibility that she had inadvertently destroyed her sister’s happiness.
