Day Two!

Hi everyone!

I can't believe we've made almost $6000 in 24 hours! This is incredible! Thank you so much for your support! All of our animators and team members have day jobs so we are hustling to make this a reality during our lunch hours and off hours. We're not connected to any network or studio so our only financial support comes from you! And it means the world to us that you want to see this project succeed! 

We did the math and if each of our Tumblr supporters contributed $20, we'd be able to surpass our budget! Our Kickstarter was launched with the purpose of being able to cover our costs and pay our artists something instead of asking them to make this seven minute pilot for nothing. Passion and exposure don't pay the rent, which is why we need this Kickstarter to be fully funded because the last thing we want are our hardworking animators doing it for nothing. And they are such an incredible team!

On the subject of animators, we've been getting inquiries about reels and submissions. I'm delighted to announce that our lead animator and I will be reviewing reels and portfolios soon! We will not be hiring anyone unless the Kickstarter is funded, but if you want to get to the top of our waiting list, stay tuned to see what we're looking for!

In the meantime, please contribute!

Like seriously I tried to voice Mr. Truffles and it came out sounding like a puppy.  Weirdest part is someone on soundcloud actually liked this and reblogged it or whatever.  I was very confused.

*Gleefully jumps on bandwagon* I thought it would be cute if the only way Mr. Truffles can be her partner is id the solve 100 unsolved cases in a 100 days otherwise Mr. Truffles is going to be sent to a zoo. Just something I was thinking about.

Miss Oficer and Mr Truffles

(Hah! I have seen this on my dash before... I'm not super familiar with the ins and outs of the fandom but hurrah for Canada! And bears!)

One could definitely say that there was a practical aspect to having Mr Truffles as a partner; it really was amazing how much more compliant criminals were when faced with a bear with considerably sharp teeth and claws, even if he wasn't full-grown. But, if Miss Officer was to be completely honest, Mr Truffles's most valuable asset wasn't his menacing growl or his surprisingly dexterous swipes: it was his company. After all, who else could she have jamming Spice Girl singalong sessions with?
