Apparently these two are called Mr Windychu and Ms Wavychu which to me lowkey implies they they're version exclusives.

If that's the case, then what an unconvential way of helping me decide which version to get. Who needs Box Legendaries when I have Ms Wavychu <3 🌊

Latest Pokopia update teaser hinting at Pokémon customization makes me think they are hinting at something I have been crackpot-theorizing since Winds and Waves were announced.

Pokémon has been known to use ideas from spinoff games in their mainline games, and Pokopia is the spinoff that has had a closest development to the main time we've ever had.

I feel like Wavychu and Windychu are also hinting at something.

Winds and Waves are centered on a very obvious concept for what we've seen, in my opinion. Freedom. "Free like the sea", "Free like the wind". Open world game, the openest a Pokémon game has ever been. And I don't think setting up dressed up Pikachu as key characters is a coincidence.

Because I think Gen 10's regional gimmick will be Pokémon Customization. Not only ways of customizing your Pokémon appearance, but even Pokémon clothing that will affect their stats. Not just giving boost, but actually customizing their stats, their base stats.

If you think about it, this idea is kind of insane in terms of balance. But would you look at that, Competitive Pokémon isn't even hosted in mainline games anymore. We have Pokémon Champions to worry about balance, so who cares?

It's very unlikely that even if Pokémon Customization is the gimmick it will go as far as swapping around a Pokémon's BST, but I just think the idea would be so cool. Want to build yourself a Physical attacker Gengar? Give it a cool shirt! Want to build a defensive Kartana? We have a skirt right for your needs.

Please, Game Freak, it would be SO COOL AND SO FUN.

OK look these two are cute, but while Miss Wavychu looks like a sweetie with her little flower and dress, Mister Windychu looks like a divorced father going on vacation to deal with the fact that he just lost custody of the kids
