What’s Septerra Core? What is it about?

It might be a bit hard for me to explain since I haven't gotten that far but Maya's parents were caught in the crossfire of warring Chosen (descendants of the creator's people who live on the top layer who see everyone else as bugs) when she was young and now finds the Chosen causing problems again now that she's an adult. She leaves her home town to find out what's going on and ends up on a quest she wasn't expecting to go on but forges on anyways.

It mixes tech and magic to a similar degree as Final Fantasy 7 if that makes sense: big machinery with lots of metal and gears but the energy powering them is kinda fantastical.

I do not know how to sell the premise of this game

The game uses a lot of prerendered 3D for it's backgrounds and characters.

combat has an ATB system too, so I can't say it wasn't inspired by FF7 a little bit (FF7 1997, Septerra Core 1999)

Maybe some thing for Link suddenly finding out that his S/O can turn into a demon? I've been playing Devil May Cry 5 a lot lately and think Nero's super cool.

So I'm gonna say it. If we could Skyward Link, he doesn't get mad at Demons if they show good. SO He might be alarmed at first But he already loves his S/O so it is alright

He's gonna ask about it - how can you? Why? Is this a curse or a choice or a gift or by birth? He will not wonder if you are weak with this ability and thus be actually EXCITED to adventure and hunt together. He doesn't mind being the hero the guard the knight the safety. BUT He finds some joy in an 'equal footing' of capability in the wilds!
