Student Council working on new picnic tables

The Saint Joseph Student Council has started off early this school year with a new school improvement project for the 2015-16 school year. New picnic tables made of thermoplastic coated metal. They are a very large step from the old worn out wooden tables that are currently being used. The current benched were built by students of the school for the new pavilion that had just been made for the school. These new picnic tables that are being funded by the school are made to last. With graffiti- and rust-resilient coatings, the new tables are guaranteed to last for years to come. The student council has already cleared the plan with Principal Archer and has agreed to fund the new tables. The agreement between the student council and Mr. Archer was that they would fund raise and search for grants to pay for the cost, but it was too large to be paid off in one year. Trying to fulfill the needs of the student body the decision was made to go ahead with the project with the looming price to be paid back in full to the school. Luckily, Mr. Archer was extremely kind and generous in this process and has allowed the schools money to be paid back over the course of a few years.
