@capturecharlesau Initially I was planning on only doing Toppats, but since you asked...

Charles: Malachite. Was going to go with Emerald but I felt the symbolism didn't match up enough. Malachite symbolizes healing, growth, and positive change. Now answer me this: when in THSC does Henry start having the option to change and be a better person? When he works with Charles in ITA. Charles is the first time Henry gets a friend in the series and it shows. A guy that's willing to treat Henry as an equal, cracking jokes, making sure he's safe (with varying success).

Macbeth: Coal. Besides the connection with trains, coal represents strength, grit, and energy. Macbeth is a pretty tough elite that runs an entire division around trains and transportation of goods. And then there's his temper. Calm but serious until you stop taking him seriously, then like a single spark to a coal pile he ignites.

I saw a comic on pinterest about an AU where apparently Reginald and Henry were dead or smthn and some dude was yelling at RHM about how he was behind on his work and RHM just... took it? And I was like 'He would NOT fucking do that'

And then I realized I could write him Not Fucking Doing That
