New horror game made by the Layers of Fear team. This is Observer! Kind of like a gritty Psychonauts. It’s extremely unsettling right from the outset, even with the Cyberpunk theme.

The goal is to enter abandoned factories to find cassette tapes and discover the new worlds transcribed within.
As Mr. Odd explains, this game had a rather interesting method of handing out Steam keys!

I love that this game has gone with a British 60′s theme. It reminds me a lot of the old show The Avengers, which I highly suggest watching if you’ve never heard of it before. (Not the Marvel Avengers. The spy couple under the employ of Mother. Steed and Peel.) The premise of the game is A LOT like something they’d investigate. I would definitely mistake this for an episode if this wasn’t a game.
The 60′s aesthetic is amazingly accurate, from the color palettes to the decorative office plants, to the fonts used around the world. So much attention to detail has been paid, and I truly appreciate the effort.
Mr. Odd also brings up another game by the company called Contrast. This is another great and colorful game about a young girl’s imaginary friend, who is a woman who can platform via the use of shadows. Definitely give that a watch, as well! It is a very good game with interesting lore!
