He had a mission to complete, and failure was not an option. Who knew what could happen if these bandits captured, or killed him? If he failed? 

Only one stone out of place could have severe repercussions. Strange had insisted on that.

“Did you see that guy?” Steve asks, still a little dazed, and turns to Bucky, who stops parrying the guards’ blows to look at Steve’s face with more attention.

After a second of consideration, Bucky changes his expression to a more familiar exasperation.

“Fuck my life,” he says, stabbing the guard who was attacking him from behind in the belly as an afterthought. “Was he even hot?”

There’s really no need to be that apprehensive about anyone Steve likes.

“He kicked the hangman in the guts,” Steve says with emotion. “And then he flew away.”

The Marvel Reverse Big Bang 2022 Schedule

Sign Ups - July 1st to August 1st*

Artist, Authors, and Beta sign ups will close on August 1st. Pinch Hitters will be open for the duration of the event. 

Art Due / Check In - September 15th

Art can be submitted at 50% as of the check in, as long as other people can understand the prompt WITHOUT additional help from the notes. All art will have additional notes to accompany the art. 

Art Previews - September 19th

Authors will receive all the art from each realm. From the 19th to the 26th, you will be able to browse the selection prior to claims. 

Claims Week - September 26th - 30th

Each Realm will have its own claims day. The fifth day will consist of all the realms for the second round of claims and pinch hitters. 

Team Announcements - October 2nd

Emails with team introductions will go out. 

Team Check In 1 - October 16th

The first team check in is due. You have one week after a reminder to submit the check in before it goes to the pinches. If you don’t, it is considered ghosting and violates rule number five.  Emergency Check Ins will also be available at any time between the team announcements to the end of posting for teams to reach out with issues. 

Team Check In 2 - November 1st

The second team check in is due. You have one week after a reminder to submit the check in before it goes to the pinches. If you don’t, it is considered ghosting and violates rule number five.  Emergency Check Ins will also be available at any time between the team announcements to the end of posting for teams to reach out with issues. 

Posting - November 16 - December 17th

Teams can post however they please starting on November 16th to December 17th.
