To my eldest boy: Mr. Cat, I loved you with all my heart. You have been in my life since Isis was, a glorious 18 years. It was always the two of you from the very beginning. You were Pams, and then moms, and I took Isis when it was time for me to move out and grow up. You were heartbroken over that, but then found love in Belle, and the two of you were inseparable until her passing last March. Everytime I'd come back to visit, you'd remember me and were still affectionate toward me. You were such a gentle cat with a kind soul, but also would put the younger cats in their place when they would get out of line. You had the whiniest of meows, yet all you wanted was to cuddle. Mr. Cat, you could have easily lived for another few years, but cancer took you from us. You were there mentally, but your cancer was inoperable, and you were going to be in great pain. My boy, I'm so sorry you had to cross that rainbow bridge, but there was no other choice. My heart is broken that I wasn't given the chance to say goodbye to you or to see you one last time. To hold you once more, to thank you, to tell you its going to be ok, to touch your beautiful fur, to be there for you. I'm broken. But I also know you are no longer in pain and that you are now with Belle and Isis. You get to also meet Streaky, Sushi, and Milo. They are all there with you now, and one day soon, I will join you too. I miss you so much. 18 years is a long time for a cat, but a blink of an eye for a human. I'd trade an entire lifetime for just one more moment with my babies. Rest in Peace my sweet King.
