This place smells burnt! It’s learned what burn smells like, this is it! how proud it is to recognize it.
The out of place creature slinks along, a bright white with tiny spots of the old grey coat here and there on its rear end, all contrasting the dirtied ground.
Its eyes widen, taking in with a SPLENDID appreciation the new range of sights and smells that have opened up for it.. The time spent in this body is slowly letting it accommodate and recognize this environment.
It breathes in. It sneezes. Something else smells strongly through the smoke.
THEN THERE’S A FLYING THING! Instincts drive the fumbling creature forward in a lightning rush, limbs splaying uncomfortably as it runs after the moth with an awkward and ineffective form.. it used to have more legs than this
And then, AGAIN! A smell?
In a moment of confusion the sickly-pale creature makes full running impact with a thing. A leg. It pulls back, shaking its head with a rattling huff of air before it can take in whatever is in front of it.
It is not accustomed to all of this sensory input.

It doesn’t matter if its ooc or not. Its about what makes the character playable. Literally noone cares if its ooc or not, what matters is being able to actually rp the character.
(it is a lot about it being OOC/IC though, otherwise I’d have just done something by now if I didn’t care

Well then i really don’t see the problem here tbh, you CAN just change what doesn’t work so that it does. It doesn’t matter if its ooc, its your character and you are the writer so you’re able to change what you want. Hes your character, If YOU write him doing it/change him , then its IC.
(it really doesn’t seem IC if its drastic changes that wouldn’t otherwise happen? if it had been earlier or if I’d gradually do anytihng about it, it would be one thing, but this has all been IC and jsut flipping the table now would be OOC)

No-ones going to lynch you for changing things about his character. Just change parts of his personality as you please, no-one will get mad and you’ll be able to write crow; problem solved !
(the issue was never about anyone else though, the issue was how weird it would be for him to suddenly change out of nowhere I wouldn’t be a fan of doing that change myself since it would be entirely OOC now)
