(I think......I should make SIlverfish an IC blog. Get myself into SOME part of their headspace in a low effort way and then get into bigger stuff. Or just do some real small drabbles. I want to write Silverfish and Torpor both again real bad.)

If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?

Possession does entail death, so ideally, the frailest, smallest person that they could find as an easy starter. As they experience living as a handful of urban animals, they do realize that human beings are higher up there in terms of control and survival, and Silverfish WANTS that. They want a human suit BAD.

Barring that, they would be happy to knock out any person who might recognize it as supernatural and dangerous.

Are they afraid of death?

SIlverfish wasn’t initially created with a sense of death, but their connection to the memories and instincts of their hosts absolutely gives them a drive to avoid it. Fear is one of the first things that it was able to feel

Do they have any regrets?

So far, not many! Really only insofar as they do realize when they’ve put themself up against a host predator they can’t control. Regrets are for backing out of an immediate mistake, not for lingering on for any length of time.

30 Uncommon Character Development Questions ( send me a number )

What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.

Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like?

Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?

Silverfish does learn and retain information, but it also has a regularly fluctuating experience of the world as it accumulates hosts. As it moves up (or up and down) the food chain, its accumulation of now-irrelevant memories (like from sensory organs or instinctive fears they no longer need) can become a burden. If it takes a temporary host, it can essentially 'shed' unwanted or confusing memories into that host as it leaves again
