Yay! This will be fun!
I hope so!
Or yes! It’s sooo much fun to write! I’m so excited about it. (it’s complicated though. it’s a bit like trying to figure out the logistics of a sex scene, but with without the naughty bits.)
O: How do you begin a story--with the plot, or the characters?
I started to answer this, then I realised the question might not be what I think it is? And the answer is different depending on how I interpreter it. Hm… Let’s do the long thing.
If we’re talking how a story starts in my head, then it’s plot driven. (If it’s not a very short slice-of-life, like a breakfast fic.) But if we’re talking about how I open fics, then it’s almost always character based, and the plot ends up hidden some seven chapters away, it feels.”Getting to the point” has never been my strong suit.

“I love that your first kiss story had them in Newfoundland it would...”
BRUH, I AM SO THERE WITH YOU. One post fall story idea I had had them in rural Scotland trying to navigate the complexities of their relationship and find healing, etc. Because outside of reality and away from other people YES. Also fluffy sweaters. :3 I am so here for this.
@mresundance YESSSSS if you are still feeling inspired for this story, I would love to read it :D Please please say they have sheep (bonus points for Hannibal making haggis).
I think this is one reason for the enduring popularity of the “escape on Will’s boat” setting. There’s nothing but them and the sea, plus being trapped in a tiny space with nowhere to sit but on each other’s laps. (Also with the boat though, there’s more of an element of being in Will’s territory, which is kind of new for them? Usually they’re in Hannibal’s spaces and Hannibal’s comfort zones on the show.)
I feel like @mresundance‘s After The Fall is the definitive post-TWOTL hannigram fic. I may never write (or read) another one. Not necessary.

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON THO
Like... with that movie or just in general with my life?
Because the latter I can explain. The former...
As I continue to say, VALHALLA RISING, a movie which since I have seen it I have proclaimed the most incoherent mess of pretty shots of Denmark and BEGGED people not to watch it, MADE MORE SENSE. Zardoz is just... it’s just...
We tried, for the entire night, to explain it to each other WHILE WE WERE WATCHING IT. IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO DO. The closest we could get was that each individual scene makes sense within itself, but it’s like a different director, script, and production team was chosen for every scene and yet the characters, actors, costume, and set all stayed the same. Or like one of those film travesties where someone directs, writes, produces, AND stars in it all at once and it’s AWFUL because it’s some weird egotistical pipe dream and there’s no one to call you out on your shit, except that couldn’t have happened because Sean Connery definitely DID NOT write, direct, or produce this. Or arguably act in it.
It’s... just... if you MUST watch it, I kid you not, the BEST way to do it is watch it back to back after Valhalla Rising with someone who’s JUST AS CONFUSED as you are. That is the BEST POSSIBLE means of watching this. ANd we found it on accident.
It’s just a fucking mess man. A MESS.

Oh no! Did something happen or is it just not a good work place for you anymore?
Something (not quite sure what, really) became the last straw and I broke down crying in the bathroom of a conference centre, then snuck out the backdoor while my colleagues had a bonding exercise.I need to get away from there.
