Last Dream: What’s your favorite Undertale AU?

Oh man… hmm… now I gotta think of all the AUs I even know about and that, on its own, is a challenge! There’s so many and so many good ones! Plus there’s some I have an interest in but don’t know enough about (for example, Outertale…)I like Underswap and Underfell is so-so for me… I know those are the big two…?

Do AUs that are focused comics count?If so, my favorite has got to be @lynxgriffin’s Undertale comic they’ve got going called “Dogs of Future Past”! If you haven’t seen me reblog it yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! You should really read all of their comics! (I still need to read Skybox but since we’re sticking to Undertale for this ask…) They’re so amazing! Amazing storytelling, within character while also treading and taking these characters into new territory and character building, not to mention well drawn! It’s all extremely well thought out and feels so… so… CANON! I would buy that comic in a HEARTBEAT if it ever went to print! Plus their written portions in between the comic page updates are so well done! I read every single one! They get so much across without going overboard and it’s always a pleasant read! Very visual, practically like picturing the comic in my head!

Otherwise, I’m frequently stalking @askgaster-wd’s blog and constantly checking for updates on @wilyart’s “Insomnia” Undertale comic, @kaleidraws’s “Seems Very Interesting” (dunno if that’s an AU so much as sort of Gaster’s origin story?) I love @nyublackneko’s UTMob AU… hmmm @zarla-s’ “Handplates” AU… I love @sansybones’ Comics “The Sons of Gaster” collection of story arcs! @loverofpiggies’ Errortale… I was really enjoying “Something’s Missing” Undertale AU comic by @theroyalfoolisgone but it seems like that has sort of gone on hiatus…? Oh! And @linssins’ Playbacktale!

I’m sure there’s more… that I just can’t think of right now… but I’m more a fan of the AUs that have a specific comic or story going I guess! Haha! They’re all lovely if I’m being entirely honest! The fact that Undertale has inspired so many AUs can be a bit daunting at times… but at the same time, there’s almost always something wonderful to find in each one! If nothing else, the fact that Undertale has inspired such creativity is amazing all on its own!
