Starlight hashira: Milo Suzuki

As Milo was walking back from a particularly rough mission, her crow, Kuro flew above her.
Her blank eyes stared up at him waiting for him to say something.
“Milo Suzuki, go to the demon slayer corps hq!” Kuro yelled then Milo continued walking, wondering why she was needed at headquarters.

Milo finally arrived to the demon slayer headquarters.
She bowed upon seeing master Kagaya.
“Milo, you have shown great improvement and stride over this past year. I am happy to tell you that you are now ready to become a hashira. Do you accept?” Master Kagaya asked and Milo looked at him blankly and nodded.
“Ok, great. Your training will start tomorrow, go rest up.” Kagaya says with a kind smile.
Milo gets up and bows once more before walking back to her Aunt Aika’s hashira estate.
Aika came out to the living area when she heard the door open.
“Hey Milo, how did the mission go?” The lucid hashira asked.
“It went well, Master Kagaya just gave me some news.” She stated, maintaining her usual stoic demeanor.
Aika smiled. “That’s great, what was the news though?” She questioned, tilting her head slightly.
“He told me I’m ready to become a hashira. Since I accepted, my training will start tomorrow.” Milo explained and Aika gasped excitedly.
“I’m so happy for you, Milo!” The woman said excitedly.
Milo nodded. “It’s truly a great honor. I’m honored to have been given this incredible opportunity.” She said and Aika nodded, her excited eyes making contact with Milo’s blank, emotionless ones.

Milo walked up to closest friend— and basically brother —, Muichiro Tokito.
“Nii san, guess what.” She said and the fellow 12 year old hashira turned to look at her.
“Yes, Ane san?” He asked, slight curiosity in his otherwise empty voice.
“Master has promoted me to hashira.” Milo said with a tinge of happiness.
Muichiro hated seeing Milo so empty all the time, it made him happy to see her a bit happy for once.
“That’s great, if you need help training I can help you.” He spoke with a bit of encouragement in his voice.
If he could remember how to smile, in this moment, he definitely would.
“Thank you, Nii san.” She says, slight gratefulness in her voice.
Muichiro nods in response. “No problem, Ane san. You should go rest, tomorrow will be a long and rough day.”
Milo nods then goes back to her Aunt’s mansion.
She makes a bee-line for her bedroom that she and Aika share.

As Milo trained, master Kagaya realized just how powerful Milo truly was.
She managed to complete her training in less than a week.
“Milo you have completely exceeded my expectations as a new hashira. I am so proud of you, I know you will help the corps bring Muzan down for good.” He said and Milo nodded then bowed.
“Thank you master.” Milo said, expressionless. Kagaya smiled softly, as that was the first time Milo had ever spoken to him.
Milo walked back to Aika’s estate as her’s hadn’t been completed yet.
She considered going to rest, then decided against it, considering her training more important than anything else.
Muichiro came to visit the lucid estate to see how Milo’s training went that day.
He was shocked and worried to see Milo still training.
The training that she was doing right now was likely way worse than the training she was doing up at headquarters.
Muichiro ran to his dear surrogate sister and carefully took her katana out of her hands.
“Ane san, didn’t you just get back from training? Why don’t you rest for the rest of the day.” Milo can see worry in Muichiro’s mint green eyes, she sighs softly.
“How else am I supposed to be worthy of being a hashira if I don’t constantly train?”
