Brandon Bowman's potential girlfriend is soooo screwed, because Mrs. Bowman probably constantly calls her "Brooklynn"... You know that famous mistake on the partners' side right? Calling your child's partner by their ex-partner's name. Well, if dinostar ends up together, Brooklynn is going to enter Mrs. Bowman "my child's partner" domain for the second time in a row... It probably becomes a second nature for her to call her sons' girlfriends "Brooklynn" at some point 💀
(that's why either Brandon or Kenji should date a guy instead, you know, to shake things up a bit, keep Mrs. Bowman on her toes)
Kenji urging Darius to keep Brooklynn's survival under wraps for just a little longer so he can tell his mom that he's bringing his girlfriend over for dinner to meet her.

It’s actually a little evil that we know Fredrick Bowman’s name and not Mrs Bowman’s. She’s alive. She is literally Darius AND Kenji’s mom. She isn’t dead. Her name is still being used because she isn’t dead. What is her name.
Lowkey want a subplot in season 2 where Kenji tries to call his adoptive mother.
It will have been a week since he called her, and he would likely want her to know that he and Darius are okay. She is the last remaining parental figure that he has, and we know how Kenji gets with those.
I can just imagine the desperation he might feel to call her. He doesn't have his phone anymore and neither do the others.
Pretty sure they still have Brooklynn's phone, but I can imagine Ben not wanting anyone to use it because "phones are traceable".
