do you guys ever think about kenji and brand.

darius, freshly back from being presumed dead, brings home this kid he met at camp with no warning and suddenly he's living in brand's house. actually, not just living there, he's being actively included into their family by his mom and his brother. and he doesn't know him at all, but he seems to really care about darius and he's also a kid who had his entire life uprooted and is trying to rebuild it, so he's going to try his best to get to know him and make him feel at home.

and then there's kenji who's definitely heard about brand from darius, and finds himself not knowing how to act around him because they both kind of take on the same role in darius's life (older brother figure), and since brand was there first, kenji doesn't quite know what part he plays in this family equation.

I know it’s probably just limited animation assets but the fact Darius has the pre-jwcc family photo up twice? One wall where it’s with the retake with Kenji, and then a separate wall where it’s with a photo of just his parents

Considering Darius moved into the cabin before Brook’s death and before he was fighting with Kenji… do we think he did it on purpose. Do we think he kept a section of his dad’s photos without a single Kenji in sight to avoid getting unjustifiably bitter. To have an area for grieving his dad that won’t allow him to build any resentment towards Kenji.

Do we think it was on purpose because he doesn’t want grief to ever make him regret finding his brother.

It has been two hundred and eleven days.

Thirty weeks (and one Leap Day) after beginning a two-week promotional tour for an amusement park's expansion, the newly-christened "Nublar Six" finally set foot on the mainland as they reunite with their families at an undisclosed port in Central America. They're older, messier, scarred, changed...but alive.

Yasmina and Sammy come out to their parents, making their intentions clear and finding themselves welcomed...and Kenji finds himself welcomed, too, as Mrs. Bowman accepts him into the fold with her two kids. They even have time for an interview before they go, sharing one last laugh before facing whatever the world has in store for them...because for now, it's over.

Camp Cretaceous is finally closed.

Brandon Bowman's potential girlfriend is soooo screwed, because Mrs. Bowman probably constantly calls her "Brooklynn"... You know that famous mistake on the partners' side right? Calling your child's partner by their ex-partner's name. Well, if dinostar ends up together, Brooklynn is going to enter Mrs. Bowman "my child's partner" domain for the second time in a row... It probably becomes a second nature for her to call her sons' girlfriends "Brooklynn" at some point 💀

(that's why either Brandon or Kenji should date a guy instead, you know, to shake things up a bit, keep Mrs. Bowman on her toes)

Of course I had to add some moments with his brother!

So far this chapter has 5750 words, and it's still in the works. Stay tuned...

I should probably post this on my other account considering it's a fic project I'm working on, but oh well.
