Mrs. Kovalenko calls Robby "Dr. Robinavitch" by the way. Each and every time. She uses his full name even after he told her everyone calls him Robby. Because she gets it.

The whole bit between Robby, Perlah and Mrs. Kovalenko about Robby going on a sabbatical was brilliant. It shows us that the staff is not really that on board with what he's doing, that he's not really sure how to justify it himself, and that an outside person who's known him for only a couple of hours and has kind of connected with him can also see that it's a pretty unwise thing he's doing.

The panic on Mrs. Kovalenko's voice when she says "No. No more fireworks." was incredible acting. We've talked a lot about seeing PTSD represented by Abbot (yeah, and Robby), I think seeing it in a patient, someone outside the hospital, a regular woman, was something great to show.

I think Noah Wyle getting to write the storyline about Mrs. Kovalenko is such a nice thing to be aware of. He was the one who wrote about his faith, and a traumatic event that affected his people and about solidarity between religions. I don't know, I looked at the scene with other eyes.
