(grin) Something of an Irish superheroine.

She appears as a supporting character in the Irish comedy series Father Ted. Mrs. Doyle is the housekeeper in the Craggy Island parochial house, looking after the three priests who're the main characters. Among various other talents, she prides herself on being able to get anyone to have a cup of tea (or a sherry, or a sandwich...) whether they want one or not. If there's a spectrum for the classification of housekeepers, Mrs. Doyle can be placed on it at the furthest possible distance from BBC!Sherlock's Mrs. Hudson. :)

(insert vague late-night flailing) This thing was supposed to be over! Now it seems to have turned itself on again. The fault's apparently being caused by a disagreement between two apps at our ebook store, and I can't turn either of them off, as they're both vital. [sigh] Time to open a service ticket, I guess.

I'M MARRIED!!

December 5, 2013. I love my husband so much. I can't wait until May when our little family of two becomes three :) Life is so wonderful. My heart is so full. It's not about the flowers, or the fancy dress, or who did the cake. It's about you and your significant other being in love and wanting to share the rest of your life with them. Getting married in the courthouse as opposed to paying a ridiculous amount of money for a venue did not make this day any less special. When we said our vows and put our rings on, it was like it was just the two of us in the world. I forgot our families were in the room. We nervously messed up words, and just giggled about it and moved on. His ring wouldn't slide on his finger, and my dad captured the most wonderful picture of that. Madison had the most genuine smile on his face. I truly could not be happier. He has turned my life around completely, and I know I've done the same for him. He's my other half, my soul mate, and my best friend. We have so much fun together, and I really cannot wait until we can have fun raising our little one. This day was the best ever.
