Hawkeye & Black Widow

I think it's adorable. In The Avengers they just had such great chemistry and played so well off each other. Though, to be really honest, I almost don't want them to pair Black Widow up with anyone because I feel like that will reduce her to fulfilling the stereotypical role of a woman in a comic book/action/superhero movie (i.e.: Girlfriend). But, I think she's a strong enough character to be paired with someone and not only fulfill that role. Plus, there'd be some people mightily upset about it (myself included).

1. What was the last album you actually, physically bought with real money from a real shop?  Oh gosh, I think it was a Beatles album? For my sister's birthday. 

2. If you could learn any skill, what would it be?  Probably the ability to roll my Rs. I can't for the life of me....usually sound like a turkey instead. 

3. When was the last time you received a hug?  Today, right before dinner, from a very good friend. It was kinda a surprise hug...but a very good surprise. :) 

5. What gives you hope?  Seeing people perform small acts of kindness, or noticing little things about others. 

6. What is your favourite item of clothing?  At this moment, my puffy winter jacket. Usually though, its my black heels. 

7. Are you a naturally trusting person? Why/why not?  I think it kinda depends on the person...? Most of the time, I'm trusting; I figure they haven't given me a reason to feel otherwise. 

8. What was the most disappointed you’ve ever been?  I honestly don't know.... perhaps when a friend (well, her mother) didn't let me read one of her books, because it was a book that was hard to find at that time (not impossible - and honestly, you can buy them easily nowadays). I had lent her several of my books and I guess I was just disappointed that she trust me to take care of it. Not a huge thing, but I was a dramatic 12 yr old girl, so it hurt a lot.      Other than that, I guess I just get really disappointed in people, when they say or do something that I didn't think they would ever do. Also when someone says something very sexist and idiotic. Though that just gets me riled up. 

9. Who are your top five favourite youtubers?  Oh gosh. Um. Itsgrace, Myharto, llSuperwomanll, Vlogbrothers, Pemberly Digital (in no order). 

10. When was the last time you cried watching a movie (this can be due to feels or laughing or any other factors… Even allergies)  I think I cried when I watched The Book Thief, recently. Mainly because Rudy feels. My poor little blonde boy. 

11. How are you? No, really, I’d like to know. How are you coping with life?  I wrote to a friend the other day, saying I was content. Not filled with copious amounts of happiness, but content. And that's how I feel now, too. I am stressed, as well, with taxes and FAFSAs and essays for scholarships and midterms and more essays...but I am content. Content with where I am in life, at this very moment. And its a really nice feeling to have. 

Now to my questions:  1. If you were asked to give a piece of advice (about anything), what would you say? 2. What's the strangest thing you believed as a child?  3. My Questions for you, my fellow Tumblr-ites: 

If you got your hands on a time machine that only had enough juice to do one time jump, when and where in the future or past would you be transported? Wow, is there 'juice' for a return journey? Because if not, yeesh! I think I'd want to go back and be there for an evening with the Inklings, probably (although it wasn't a very female-friendly environment...) or a cricket game of the Allahakbarries or one of those fantabulous literary dinners like the one that had Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Oscar Wilde at it.

What animal do you most identify with? If you don’t identify with an animal at all (since I realize that’s kind of an odd question), which is your favorite? Hmmm, I like cats, big cats, (panthers!), bush babies, frogs... I'd probably identify most with dugongs though.

If you had to give up one sense (like hearing, sight, touch, smell, etc.), which would you choose to give up?  I'd hate to, but... smell.

Oh no! You’ve woken up in a completely different world from the one we currently live in! What are the characteristics of this world? ... I... don't know. There's not much I'd feel competent to change about the world - I wish we could decentralise and decentralise and decentralise power - bring businesses back down to a local level, slice and double slice the budgets and bureaucracy of government, etc.

What historical figure would you most like to have tea with? OH MY GOSH. By historical you mean dead, right? So no Hiddlseton? I'd probably want to have tea with G. K. Chesterton!

What is the most recent movie/TV show/book etc. (your choice!) that you’ve experienced and would you recommend it to us? Frozen! I don't know how I'd recommend it though...

What physical/personality attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex? (I realize this is not the most original of questions, but I just like to hear people’s “type”).  I'm incredibly predictable. Tall guys, curly hair, interested in classic literature and Jesus. Nice hands. Cheekbones.

What historical time period do you find most fascinating to study? Oooh, I don't know? I'm pretty much into everything from Regency to WWI and before - not a modern history fan so much, though.

Who is the celebrity you most often get told you look just like? I don't look like her at all, really, but Drew Barrymore.

Have you ever heard of the musician Birdy? If not, go youtube her right now. “Light Me Up,” her new track, is addicting. Will do! The only thing I know about Birdy is that a friend of mine thought she wrote 'Skinny Love'.
