Love love love your Arcane art! Especially your recent art of Jayce as one of the Firelights. You COOKED with his back muscles and I had to scroll back up to admire them again! like wowowow I’m looking respectfully but I’m looking! also i decided to consider this part of canon, because there’s nothing to dispute it so ..
On another note. when I saw that you’re into zosan and ghoulcy, i was like dude! instant follow!!
It always feels like winning in the lottery when I stumble upon a blog with the same fandom and ship combos I like haha
Aw, hello! And thank you! I redrew those muscles so many times, oh my god, I'm really glad they turned out well.
Also, yes! It's always a joy to find people who have more than one ship and fandom common with you.

Irma was my favourite character for this exact reason, albeit unconsciously! But in hindsight I totally get why I related to her so much because I'm also rather insecure, although people would never think that in the fist place. But your dream sounds like an amazing story arc!
Thank you! :D I’ve related to her a lot as well. I feel like Cornelia and Will got most of the focus in the comics, and I would have loved to see more focus on the others, especially Irma.
AU – canon divergence, fluff, angst, mutual pining, Avengers as family

Thank you for sending me a prompt :) I chose 13: This wasn’t meant to be a date, but we’ve had such a good time and nowit’s 2 a.m. and I should really go home…
The Accidental Date
She had no idea he was in the City. Haymitch had notmentioned anything when she was in Twelve two weeks prior but she had crossedpaths with him… Or rather, she found herself sitting across from him.
Haymitch had walked into the cafe with orders to gowhile she was at her table, waiting for wine to be served when she locked eyeswith him. She waved him over, a little surprised to see him there and when hecame to greet her, it was only polite to offer the empty seat to him.
“I had ordered something to go,” he explained, pullingthe chair to take a seat. “Didn’t expect to see you here.”
“I didn’t either. There used to be a really fancyrestaurant here before the war, do you remember?” she asked. “We had meetingswith sponsors there on a few occasions.”
“Yeah,” he nodded. “Sure, yeah, I remember. Could besome unconscious memory just leading me down this path again – I ain’t evenstaying anywhere nearby.”
“Well,” she smiled. “Now that you are here, perhaps itis not too late to change your ‘to go’ to dining in, yes? Have dinner with me, Haymitch,it’s been a while.”
In all honesty, she thought that he would likelydecline. Haymitch was notorious when it came to avoiding public places eversince the Games ended and he was no longer required to be seen in public forsponsorship purposes. He kept to himself mostly if he could help it but hecalled on the waiter and requested to have his food served which surprised her.
Dinner was unexpectedly pleasant and normal. They discussed and argued about thelatest public policy President Paylor had vetoed. They talked about theirfriends in District Four and Plutarch’s latest programme. At some point shedeclared him to still be insufferable when he was adamant about using the samespoon for his soup and main course, and he called her ridiculous after learningof the early day she would be having the following day for the launch of a newmake-up product that she was invited to.
“I’ll have you know, Haymitch, that fashion isdrastically different nowadays,” she explained. “It is no longer about beingflashy and gaudy as you had once described, it is now more… muted, colours are leaning towards thepastels and nudes. I do believe they are aiming for a more natural look butthat is not to say that a little sparkly eye shadow would be remiss, oh no.Just a little splash of it would make one’s face really glow.”
“Yeah, see, sweetheart,” he licked the pudding off thespoon and waved it in her direction. “That’s not something I really care about but if the fashion industry is reallygoing for somethin’ more natural, why not just forget about it all together, yeah? Natural is no make-up. Doesn’t that make sense?”
“Oh, Haymitch, you will never understand,” she sigheddramatically.
They ended up walking in the same direction afterdinner. She crossed the street to turn right and Haymitch had simply followed, now deep in conversation about the merits of the new private school in DistrictThree.
“It’s elitist,” Haymitch shrugged.
“It is not to say that public schools are of lowerstandards but they are govern by the Ministry of Education whereas privateschools are at a liberty to cater their curriculum to – “
“Yeah, still elitist,” Haymitch argued. “You’re sayingthat because they have freedom in tailoring their curriculum and standard ofassessment with a smaller class size, they have better education quality? Let’snot talk about the social divide… Say you have kids at the playground comparingwhere they go to school to… You think that privately educated kid won’t letit get to his head that he’s better?”
“Well, it is far too early for Annie and Johanna tothink about this matter,” she said in a placating tone. “Finn is still yearsaway before he is required to enrol.”
“Sure, but what about if you have kids… Private school then, yeah?”
She stopped short.
“Shit, sweetheart,” he cursed. “I… It slipped – “
“It’s fine,” Effie plastered a smile on her face. Notmany people knew of the consequences of her torture but he was one of them. Hehad been there when the doctor broke the news to her. “Do not worry about it. Ohlook, they are screening a movie at the park,” Effie pointed, hurrying over towhere the people had laid out mats on the open field.
Effie found an empty bench, quite a distance away butshe could still see what was being screened so she deemed the spot reasonable enough. He sat next to her, not saying a word but she could feel him glancing her wayonce in a while.
“Ain’t right what I said back there,” he muttered. “Shouldn’thave said anything… You know I didn’t mean it, yeah?”
“I know,” she nodded. “You are always so terrible atapologies.”
“Guess so. Listen, I’m sorry, sweetheart.”
“It is not the end of the line. There are otheroptions, surrogacy and adoption, if I really do want a child of my own.”
“Do you?” he asked.
“Perhaps one day,” she said wistfully. “When I ambetter and stronger, emotionally and mentally…. When I find myself in a goodplace…”
He said nothing, except to squeeze her knee. Shewondered if he had let himself think about it – living his life after the war, having a family now that children were no longer in danger of being reaped.
She couldn’t help it now that her thoughts had led herthis far. She imagined them with a child in District Twelve. She pictured a tyreswing on his front yard where he spent his Sunday afternoon pushing his son onit. She pictured a blonde haired little girl running away from the geese hekept as pets.
Next to her, Haymitch was snickering at a scene fromthe movie. It jostled her back and she blinked the thoughts away.
Tonight had been one of the most wonderful nights shehad since her life had turned upside down during the Rebellion, and tonight hadfelt too much like a date. A perfect date… with a man her heart had alwaysyearned.
It was her fault, really. She had kept him at adistance, too afraid to have her heart broken and open herself up to beinghurt. She was still healing and she could only focus on one thing at a time.
Effie glanced down at her wrist watch.
“I should head home,” she stood up suddenly.
“Now? The movie should be ending soon. Why don’t wewait till it’s over?”
“I – I do not think it will be wise. It is late and Ihave an early day tomorrow, as you know.”
He stood up as well, looking at her a littleuncertain. She couldn’t blame him. Her decision had been rather abruptconsidering the pleasant night they had. He must think that something waswrong.
“I will walk you home.”
She looked down, trying to hide a smile. It was so likehim to just decide on things without asking her about it first.
“Well, if you insist,” she replied and if she washonest, she wouldn’t mind spending a few more minutes with him. “I do not wantyou to be getting any ideas, though,” she warned. “I will not invite you in.”
He chuckled quietly. “Now, now, sweetheart, that’s notvery polite, is it?”
