Today is the second day of Metrorail Transit's trial run of the "Express Train" scheme. In the MRT-Cubao station, they have a scheme on where should the "Express Train" passengers and regular passengers line-up. The problem? When the regular train has reached Cubao station, the train is already filled to the brim by passengers from North Ave., Quezon Ave., and GMA-Kamuning passengers. The line efficiency may be good, but the passengers are STILL at a disadvantage.

Today is the first day of the Metrorail Transit’s trial run of the “Express Lane”, and it is already causing a lot of frustration to passengers of the MRT.

I’ve taken the train from the Quezon Avenue station, and the lines now reach to Mother Ignacia Ave.

Instead of the lines usually stopping & moving every 3-5, the passengers now move only 2 times every 15 minutes.

Also, the bag inspection area is now on the ground floor instead of near the ticketing area… causing a lot more misery.

I know that stations like Cubao, Buendia, and Taft are focal points, but how about the others? Ortigas is also a business district, and Guadalupe is also Makati.
