Raving Raven was a prototype developed before the cancellation of the smiling critters. It was supposed to appeal with a blacklight craze and rise of raves as it was built. However the blacklight fabric was too expensive for mass production and the company did not want to associate with the more adult raves and CapNap was favored instead.
Post hour of joy, he remains within the factory keeping it on the down low. Due to the nature of prototype toys, they're a little more advanced than the average Smiling Critter. They seem to not side with CatNap or the prototype. They would be a secret character in the game.
