MS!Bakudeku Headcanons
It’s been a while since I’ve done headcanons, and I had a few ideas about what happened between the log incident and chapter 1.
- Bakugou was antisocial. He would never ask his “friends” (aka lackeys) to hang out. They would always have to ask him...and he would always ditch at the first chance.
- Izuku jumped friend groups a lot. He never really had a dedicated seat anywhere or any real friends, but certain, more outcasted groups would let him hang out with them occassionally. He liked the social interaction, but they were hardly ever doing things that he was interested in.
- Bakugou ran into Deku EVERYWHERE. Anytime that Katsuki went out, he would see Izuku. It annoyed the shit outta him, but he never approached and Izuku never noticed (which only made Katsuki more annoyed for some reason ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
- Izuku would always wish Katsuki a happy birthday. He never got a response, but he always did.
- Katsuki always gave Izuku a small present on his birthday...anonymously. He’d get him trinket items, like key chains or pins (usually hero-themed) and put them somewhere for Deku to find on his birthday. He stops once they get to UA. Even once they’re in UA and pros, Katsuki never tells Izuku that it was him.
- They stop being friends...but their mothers don’t. Izuku will come home to his mother on the phone, talking enthusiastically to Mitsuki Bakugou. Or Katsuki’s mother will burst through the door while he’s working on dinner, ranting about how much fun she had on her outing with Inko. Their friendship makes Izuku jealous/nostalgic. It makes Katsuki jealous/angry.
- Izuku knows some parkour skills from chasing hero fights. I imagine him getting more into it once he gets into UA (Sero and Deku parkour buddies???)
- Deku wanted to do martial arts. But all the physical activity that he gets is on his own because organized groups and gyms don’t accept quirkless people.
- Katsuki was at home more than Deku was. Deku was out dawn to dusk catching as many hero fights as he could LIVE. He only sat at home after curfew to comb videos for details that he missed. Katsuki prefers to be at home. He likes working out alone and he games or plays music in his freetime, all of which he prefers doing in the comfort of his home.
