Phantom from MapleStory, completed 28 Oct 2017. Drawn in pacer lead on printing paper, with gridlines in black pen on the other side of the paper to match the reference image, which was also overlaid with a grid.

My first time trying to draw anything properly. For whatever reason, I was struck with inspiration and complete confidence that I could copy the original artwork onto paper, so I just went and did it. I'd never tried redrawing anything before, and it took hours of drawing the same lines over and over again, but I was super proud of how this turned out. So despite being a little traumatised by all the minute details in Phantom's outfit, I've since drawn a few other things.

I've barely drawn anything in the last few years, but maybe I'll pick up on this hobby again.
