a little drabble, my brain is very stella and the concept of season one stella is really in my brain now-- have a little jestella talk ft petra who is a heavy sleeper and is just snoring beside her girlfriends. stella and jessie often like to talk past midnight-- usually if one of them can’t sleep, especially if one of them (mainly jessie) have a nightmare too.

“Imagine if I had moved to your town.” 

The words speak in muttering. Jessie open one eye, and she sees Stella staring at her. 

“Moving here?” Jessie says half-sleepy, “Though you already moved here.”

Stella blinks, and chuckles-- almost want to shove this idiot-- but she can’t, not when the large woman behind her grumbles and hug Stella tightly behind. Stella instead roll her eyes at Jessie.

“No, darling, I meant before I became a leader.” 

Now that made Jessie open her other eye, and staring at her. They had talked about it before. About how her former ‘boss’, as she call him, made Stella dressed up in a particular way to impress the audience as he liked to call it, taught her all the dirty tricks to keep the Champion City busy and running, and so much that Jessie shakes her head and reminded Stella that she is none of that. She is away from these such things. For years now.

Now, Stella is asking about a what if.

“You? Here? Like...” Jessie tried to count, not as fast as Olivia but, “Almost a decade ago?” 

Stella nod, and when Jessie moves closer to Stella, the former hero continues, “What would you do?” 

Stella stares at Jessie, and suddenly her face turned a little warm. 

“I... Well, Radar and I was supposed to move in together somewhere in the town,” Stella begins, and Jessie lets her to ramble on, “He was excited to work nearby you-- I’m glad he did-- and I... Well, obviously I would find work in build projects...It was to seek for...” 

“Creativity?” Stella smiles at that.

“Yeah, creativity,” Stella blushed a little more warmer, “...and to see you two in the far distance.”

Jessie chuckles, “Oh? Is that the part where you mentioned that is how you got a crush on us?”

Stella roll her eyes and leans on Jessie’s forehead, “Of course it is, you daring dork. ...And yes, that time your mayor dragged me into your silly parade in armors.” 

“And fall in love with us.” 

“And fall in love with you two.”
