Salt Lake Comic Con is doing a survey to see what cosplayers they should invite as guests at this year’s show. I think this is awesome! They can really get an idea of what their attendees are looking for. I’ve never been to SLCC but I would love to go! I’d do a panel on how to cosplay on a budget, help with hand sewing, (I have hand sewed 40+ costumes) and armor for beginners. I would also discuss being a cosplayer with a disability, and dealing with discrimination as a woman of color in the con scene. I might even bring a few episodes of my Doctor Who/Torchwood webseries Legacy, which was spotlighted by BBC America, for a screening. I have a lot of fun stuff planned for my 2015 con appearances, and I would love to add Salt Lake Comic Con to the list!
