Just watched 312, and you're right, ALL the feelings! I love that Harvey's excuse for going to Boston was "Marcus." Basically, Mike being in trouble hits him in the same place as family in trouble. Really, every single character showcased their emotional relationships this episode. (Plus hooray for the resolution of the "Louis knows" plotline. They managed to surprise me with the perfect solution).
YESSSS. I loved his excuse being Marcus, especially since we know Mike is a lot like him - like he was telling Jessica the truth while lying. plus, bonus canon knowledge now that Marcus lives in Boston. head canon, Harvey moved him up there when he was in law school and Marcus decided to stay.
they managed to surprise me too with the resolution of the Louis plot - that's my favorite thing about this show, they always surprise me with their cliffhangers, I don't think there's a single time it's gone in a direction I projected. and it's always a *good* surprise, too.
