Final year project Ba Illustration with Animation class of 2018 Manchester School of Art

Stop-motion 3D puppet animation based on the origin story of the Kikuyu people of Kenya.

For those who have been waiting to see the final product of my stop-motion animation, here it is. I know it took me 4 years to post, but I decided not to continue doing animation after completing this film. I moved on to exploring 3D animation and visual effects, however, this film highly influenced me to try the 3D world.

I apologise for the sound quality and the subtitles, this IS a student film and therefore I only had a few weeks to finish it.

Clay fruits for a scene. Eventually I realized I don’t like the textures & that I’m not skilled enough with clay nor do I enjoy using it, so this ended up being a failed experiment.
